I work just down the street from Beacon Falls Cafe. I had ordered for myself before and had a wonderful experience between the quality of the food and service. I was excited to offer lunch to everyone from my office the following Friday, telling everyone what a great place it was. We were all very excited for this lunch and boy were we disappointed. Im not sure if it is due to lack of kitchen help, but the food was a mess. I myself ordered the same sandwich from the last time and this time, they put red onion in the sandwich. I am allergic to red onion and had to spend a decent amount of time picking them out. I have no problem specifically asking for them to not put what is supposed to be in the sandwich, out. But, the last time I had it there was no red onion, nor is it listed on the menu that there is red onion in the sandwich. I called back to ask about this and the lady on the phone (who I will not mention by name, youre welcome.) was extremely rude and gave me a sarcastic apology. I have worked in service for years, I understand customers are not always the easiest to be nice to, but it is a part of your job. One of the ladies in my office had ordered a burger and asked for a side of dipping sauce for her fries. Although they have a variety of aiolis listed on the menu throughout their different sandwiches and wraps, they told me during pick up "they do not have any type of aiolis or dipping sauces."....Even after we offered to pay for them. Another person in my office ordered their eggplant fries, and no sauce was offered with these. Typically, although not stated on the menu, I would assume marinara.. Not even a suggestion was made by the so-called servers. Maybe the staff is having a bad day, but I can assure you I will not spend another dollar at this place. I now have to spend the remainder of my day not feeling so well because of the red onion in my $15 sandwich that was not supposed to be there. Extremely disappointed. I wasnt even offered a refund or a replacement. As a previous restaurant worker and manager, that should be protocol. YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDS TREMENDOUS WORK. That should be your priority. And update your menu if you want to throw different ingredients in sandwiches. Let me offer you a piece of advice from a previous boss of mine at a HIGH END RESTAURANT I WORKED FOR IN NYC...... "Customer service and customer retention should be your main concern. To keep people coming back and telling their friends good things about your establishment is what keeps the business going... Bad food can be fixed with tremendous service. Good food will never save you from bad service."

Ive eaten here numerous times and loved it every time. The chef regularly changes the specials demonstrating a range of food, though typically american and italian... from classic bacon cheeseburgers to swordfish over risotto. Prices are unexpectedly reasonable given the artsy-town and the high quality of the food. There is a small but rotating tap of about 4 beers that are generally excellent - or at the very least provide variety. If you are wanting a slow, relaxing dinner it is the best place in beacon - particularly if you have a group with mixed food interests.

Ashley is awesome! Cant say enough about service. Mac and cheese was good. Lee really liked the beer braised beef. The second cider (pictured) was better then the one on the menu. Unfortunately... everything fried is a let down. The calamari is so heavily breaded... thats all you taste. I could not finish my fish and chips. But back to the positive, white sangria was good too. Ashley even addressed the fish and chips after I asked her not to. So once again, Ashley is awesome.

This is more than just a café. It is a lovely place for dinner and drinks. They have a lot of creative dishes and a great atmosphere. It is on the quieter side of Beacon. There is outdoor seating on the sidewalk at small tables that feel like smalltown Parisian. They carry some local beers to accompany your meal. They even have candles and fresh flowers.

Im so glad we stumbled into this local gem. Weve gone for lunch and dinner, and the food is tasty every time. They always have a few craft beers on draft as well, which is a bonus. Good location right on Main Street in Beacon. It gets busy for brunch though, the only time we attempted to go to brunch there was a 40 minute wait so we passed.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for brunch. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The food was amazing. I had the eggs in a basket and it took me straight back to my favorite childhood memories. My boyfriend had the pancakes and loved them. Excellent place!!!

Was disappointed, I ordered the Margherita pizza and the crust tasted straight out of a package, it had no tomato sauce, they use pesto instead and it made the crust very saggy. They also use roasted red peppers and raisins??? Stay away from the pizza.

My favorite restaurant in Dutchess County, NY. We go there every week. The food is always delicious and they have a great selection of micro brews both on tap and in bottles. The chef/owner is a CIA grad and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Whenever we drive north we stop here because we enjoy the food and supporting a local business instead of the thruway stops. Unfortunately we wont because they open too late on the weekends. 10am on a Saturday isnt worth the wait.

This was the first place we ate at on our first visit to Beacon and it has set the bar high for its competitors. We may come back tomorrow!
