I lived in Calverton for almost three years, and Wine Country Deli & Catering was my absolute favorite place to get takeout. Being from NC, I had never had real NY deli food before, and I still miss it! And, the owners of this deli know how to make real Southern sweet tea! Their sides, pasta salad, etc. are wonderful. They have cold cases with drinks, and they sell chips and other snacks, along with a few basic necessity groceries. The owners are so nice and the food and tea are wonderful. When I visit Long Island again, I will be sure to stop in.

I would give three stars for price and wait time, but I give credit to the deli owner for personally managing his business, overseeing regular operations, and interacting with customers directly in a clear effort to make their visit a better experience. Very friendly staff, I visit regularly.
