My gf and I are wine lovers and as such, we can not possibly enjoy our diner without good wine. Well, Heights did not disappoint on both accounts. The service was very good and so was the food, but the wine selection was extraordinary! First, I should mention that their wine list is diverse, extremely informative (has ratings and tasting notes by well known critics), and very reasonably priced. In fact, their bottle list offers an unbelievable selection so we will definitely have to come back with another couple and share a bottle :) I ordered Roasted chicken, which was tasty & juicy and paired it with a the Edna Valley Cabernet which was characteristic to the varietal - very tasty and smooth. The gf had fish with the Prosecco (which was rated 90 by Wine Spectator) and loved both. Well definitely be back for the bottle LOL!

Worst experience Ive ever had. Ive never felt so ignored (discriminated) against at a restaurant. My coworker and I went for lunch here and after we were seated we had to hunt down the severs for water, to order, we asked for dessert menus, never received. The busser was better at service than the waiters. We even had to ask for the bill. They didnt want to clear the plates, we put the money to pay and they didnt want to pick up it up. What was weird is there were other people sitting around us who they went over and asked if everything was ok. They were served before us although they came after us. They were offered water. We had to ask the busser to bring us some water. See a trend here. Stay away from this place. Such a shame because all said the food, when we did receive it tasted good.

I dont even want to give any stars for this place! Poor service and mediocre food at best! Waited to be served and all we got was water. The table next to us was then seated and after about 5 minutes they were served! When we asked the girl who had seated us if our table had anybody who would serve us she replied "oh, Im so sorry well be right with you" and then she proceeds to help someone else first - Walked Out! The last time we were there they screwed our order up and gave us onions when we asked for NO onions. Why pay their expensive prices for this type of treatment. My advice - go somewhere else.

Just came here for the first time today and its definitely a good place to hit up for brunch. Very clean and well kept establishment with a friendly staff. I had a chicken sandwich with fries which was pretty decent. Ill come back to sample other things on the menu and will update my review accordingly if required. The only reason I am not giving this place 4 stars just yet is because I wasnt wowed by anything in particular but I might be once I sample other things on the menu. If you are in the area definitely check this place out, you may really like it

A pretty popular place lunch and brunch spot in Brooklyn Heights given its corner location and outdoor seating in the summer. The food is good - typical sandwiches and burgers (although I really like their french fries). However, on a couple occasions when seated inside, Ive noticed a number of flies in the booth area of seats near the kitchen. Definitely a distraction, if not a red flag about the sanitary conditions there.

My friend and I came to Heights for brunch one Sunday afternoon and sat outside despite the strong winds. We enjoyed a mimosa and irish coffee with our brunch (me: burger; friend: omelette) and were pleased with the reasonable prices. I dont know that Id return, because it wasnt anything special, despite others boasting about the cafe, but I really didnt see anything on the menu I HAD to have on another visit.

Excellent brunch! Both my friend and I have had fantastic meals. I had the grilled andouille sausage frittata and my friend had the smoked salmon sandwich. Another time I had pancakes which were good but not great (I would recommend getting them with chocolate chips or fruit next time). The atmosphere is also great on a nice sunny day. The only downside is how busy they are during the "brunch rush."

This place was about as LACKLUSTER as it gets. The food is not good and its very overpriced. $18 for crappy meatloaf? What? The meatloaf, which is their signature dish, is the worst meatloaf ive ever had. Its spam like. Not an exaggeration. Its just not good. The pizza was so mediocre and salty. Both dishes I could have made better on my own, and next time I will.

Delicious shrimp linguini, and the crab cakes are also very good (its an appetizer but its so big you could have it as your main meal). Very friendly waiting staff, although they did try and whip away my friends plate while I was still eating, and didnt understand why we wanted them to clear away the table only when wed all finished our meals.

I came here with a friend for brunch. I read a lot of good reviews about the restaurant and thought I would try it. It is okay. Great location in the heights. My friend and I had the burger, which was okay. There were other selections on the menu. The service was good. Prices were reasonable.

3 1/2 stars is what Id really give it. The food (sandwiches, salads, paninis etc.) are just fine. Nothing exceptional. The pizza however is quite good. But overall, nothing exception so Id give the food a 3 stars but Id four stars for the vibe, the outdoor seating and its location.

Amazing location with outdoor seating, located on the corner. However, their food is only okay. Quesadilla is mildly tasty, the sesame tuna salad could have used a bit more zing, and the steak sandwich was a bit dull. Stick to the classics like the burger if you come here.

Decent food, nothing special. Pretty pricey. I ordered the veggie burger which was just your average burger but it didnt come with fries like all the other burgers, but a very sad and limp "salad" came with it. Basically just a pile of mixed greens with a little oil on it.

Total bummer. Soup so spicy could hardly taste it. And I like spicy. Main course utterly tasteless. Totally over-priced for what is was. Staff hanging out with each other aloof of patrons. Could in NO WAY recommend this place. Stay away!

Sigh. All I want is good food in Brooklyn Heights. I went to this popular spot for brunch and was completely disappointed. The omelet was a very strange color and consistency and the service was incredibly slow. Kind of ruined my day.
