*** Foodies paradise *** 1) liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream. 2) No bathrooms. 3) Parking is not easy to find. 4) Chic and modern interior. 5) Seating available. 6) Pricey but worth it. As a self appointed connoisseur of green tea ice cream (and other flavors), I can promise you that your palates will be dancing from happiness... Holy moses mother of mary their "green tea" is hands down the best on the planet... All your guilty pleasures in one Cup! HOLY HEAVENLY FATHER OF THE ICE CREAM GODS... No, they are not helping me here, by adding those addictive "Matcha kit-kats," where do you even get those?? And to be honest most of the time I cant Finish my ice cream, I loose interest halfway through, but not here, Their "green tea" is so on point I can see myself coming back a few times a day for a refill. My visit here: On a Thursday night on my way to get food, I decided to stop by, and check out what the craze is all about, it was very hot outside with only a few people inside, so I got my order in fairly quickly. No, you cannot taste the flavors before you order, because they make it right in front of you in one of the three colorful machines right in front of you! My green tea was made in the "pink" machine, and if you havent seen liquid Nitrogen in action, dont scream when you see smoke coming out, thats the "liquid Nitrogen" freezing your ice cream... I got a buzzer to alarm me when my ice cream concoction is ready, and after two agonizing minutes (lol) my buzzer started dancing reminding me that its that time of the day, Ice Cream time! Although the end result looked picture perfect, It took a lot of me to hold back not to just dive in tongue fisrt in the Devine creation in front of me... A few pictures later and I was ready, it was the moment of truth! Does it taste as good as it looks? Luckily, I didnt have to wait to find out the answer to that. After a spoonful of goodness swirling in my mouth the short answer is a resounding yes! If this would of been on "Americas got Talent" I would of definitely pressed the "Golden buzzer!" It was hard for me to keep myself in tact, I know that PDA for food is Taboo in America (I only wish I was in Japan), but dont worry I made it out alive. And To quote a famous governor, "Ill be back." Ps. I feel like the "liquid Nitrogen" method adds a creamy and smooth element that I havent tasted in other regular ice cream parlors (including the Thai ice cream rollers). Its more delectable, refined, yet full of flavor. (Fortunately I dont live around the corner, so I cant splash my money here on a daily basis....) _____________ As of July 2016, This is the only ice cream shop in new York that uses "liquid Nitrogen" to make ice cream.

Good ice cream, but not for the price. Ive tried nitro ice cream before. The ice cream is supposed to be far creamier, so I was disappointed to discover it wasnt and just tasted a bit over-frozen. I think the makers add too much liquid nitrogen. I noticed they had to stop the machines several times and wipe off the ice cream because it froze to the whippers. They only offer 8 sundaes, which I can appreciate the limits in choices, but no options for a simple single scoop of ice cream. Again i get nitro ice cream for the texture, but its hard to notice the difference when its riddled with other ingredients on it. And the price... absolutely pretentious. 7.50 for one ice cream The one thing I do enjoy about the place is they put their liquid nitrogen to work. They use it for cheese balls that you can eat and blow out the nitrogen (Looks like you just smoked a hookah). You can also get a nitro cup for $1.50 extra, which is basically them throwing a nitro cube in water in a larger cup and putting the smaller cup of your 7.50 sundae over it. Clever and aesthetically very pleasing, but a 1.50 for an ice cube? Cmon... Id recommend to try once if you have money to spend, otherwise the mom and pap ice cream shop will do.

Show! Ein Eis ohne alles kostet 7,50- $, der qualmende Untersatz 1,50- und die Nitroballs 2,- Einmal reicht.

A fun experience and tasty treat! My friends and I came here after lunch with no expectations. The line took longer than we were used to, but we had fun chatting with other customers and deciding on our ice cream. My choice was the Campfire, as a huge fan of Smores i had to try this. Watching them make your desert is half of the fun. They pour the mixture into these colorful stand mixers, and blast it with liquid nitrogen. Smoke everywhere, its a fun and exciting thing to watch! They toast the marshmallows, and the mashmellow sauce, the chocolate ice cream is thick and flavorful and full of mini marshmallow pillows, and then there is a nice chunk of grahm cracker in the middle which i broke up after a few bites so i could have pieces in each bite. This was a fun stop and I will be visiting again next time Im in Williamsburg for sure, it hits all the right notes. Great ice cream, great price and awesome atmosphere.

If this place isnt busy, RUN INSIDE QUICK. Because there are days where it is deserted and days where there is a line out the door. The concept is cool: super smooth, creamy ice cream frozen with liquid nitrogen. I can attest to how creamy this stuff is, very very tasty. They offer an upgraded experience where you can get your ice cream in a cup that they put dry ice into and makes it all smoky. Just ignore that and get some ice cream. Theres no need to have a smoky cup. If youre dying for some smoke effects that badly, just buy the cheeseballs called "Dragons Breath". They are three bucks for six of them and you eat them and can breathe "smoke" out of your mouth and nose. Just be forewarned you are eating liquid nitrogen frozen cheesepuffs so they can be really harsh on the roof of your mouth. Just be careful with it, because that can kinda ruin the experience.

I went in because I thought it would be super cool, and fresher ice cream has to be better right? I was mostly unimpressed though. The process was nothing great, and really not visible even though it seems like it will be. The employees were non-descript and I cant say that I would go back. They had a few cool choices for different flavors and sundae combos, but its not something I think anyone is missing out on. The ice cream was as good as anywhere else that serves frozen ice cream though so I gave this 3 stars. It cant compete with the likes of a Carvel/Ben and Jerrys/Baskin Robbins though, I would go to any of them first before returning here.

The place is definitely founded by a great idea. I was very excited and expecting an ice cream with a very different texture and feel since they literally freeze their ice cream liquid recipe with liquid nitrogen in front of your eyes, but it turned out that the texture or taste was no different than any other ice cream Id had before. Id have to add that they do pay special attention the the looks of your ice cream and take time to decorate it with lots of care, thus making their products extremely Instagram friendly. Their customer handling is poor and waits are over an hour on average. They would really benefit from a couple more staff members.
