This place is a little sub-par even for your typical KFC. My food has always been prepared well and quickly, though the cashiers always seem to new to the whole register concept. Straws, lids and napkins are all kept behind the counter presumably to stave off theft. Being on Broadway means you get the occasional curbside entrepreneur wandering in to sell knockoff DVDs or ask for change. Theres a couple of TVs always playing daytime TV a bit too loud. All around, its pretty standard for the neighborhood, but that bar is pretty low.

I cant believe it. I love KFC chicken, but when I got there, they said that with my chicken (breast) and 2 sides I had to pay for a soda! Which I didnt want. OK they said it comes with it, but the price is about $2 more because of the soda. What do parents do if they dont want their kids to fill up on sugar water?

For a fast food its mediocre. Sometimes the oil they use is old and needs more frequently changed. Their fry seem like chicken was thrown in at not the hottest temperature so lots of oil that soaked in breading making it hit or miss on the "crispy" description. The cashiers there once in awhile are unfriendly.

I been there 3 times in the last month and half and there is always a deficit in chicken, napkins, ketchup, soda... I had to snap the last time and I got some extra pieces added to my family meal.

The best KFC restaurant in the Bronx. Good, comfortable seating and TV monitor. But good luck finding a parking spot in this neighborhood.
