The Food Is amazing, great wings, potstickers and bulgogi, however the staff paid minimal attention to my table. We asked three times for water as the food came out first. The waitress forgot our side orders and failed to ever check if we were okay with our dining experience. In the end, after paying credit for the bill I decided to give cash tip. I handed the manager the bill and asked for a bag. The manager returned bagless requesting that I leave 15% tip. The staff then paid full attention to me, hovering over my table until I left cash tip. I wrote them a nice note on a napkin as they watched me writing away and left my cash tip. Then I proceeded to get my chicken boxes together without a bag to walk out. The staff then offered me a bag to take my chicken after monitoring me for the past 10 minutes to leave tip. They didnt care for their service and was very inconsiderate. If you eat here order togo. The stars only go to the food. Thanks Jade for your terrible service.

Theres something about double fried chicken glazed in crack sauce, and I will travel miles for some good Korean fried chicken, and by miles I just mean East Village because Boka was easier to get to than Bonchon, Turntable and Kyochon from where I lived before. When youre pregnant in NYC, its good to have options when youre having cravings. Fast forward to my apartment search in Astoria and what did I find? a Bonchon around the corner! Went for happy hour but didnt try the drinks (they do offer a Filipino beer, Red Horse, which was surprising). We ordered their chicken strips, fries, wings and rice. My husband doesnt waste food and he finished it but we both agreed the strips were pretty dry. The fries were good, but of course, THE WINGS! Soy garlic is the way to go if youre not a fan of spicy wings but you can always ask for a side of sriracha and dip occasionally. Glad to have this place in the neighborhood, will be back soon.

My friends and I are fans of Bonchons chicken! Hot one or not, their tastes are so delicious to addict to them! Spacy and a little bit sweet. The one in K town is a little bit noisy as their concept, but this one is bigger than that and you can take more room. When I need souvenir for getting invitations, I buy their chickens :) But if chickens are little softer and juicer, itd be better!

The wings are great Bonchon Korean fried chicken wings like they should be. The tteokboki we had was sadly lacking in sauce flavor. It genuinely tasted like spicy Chef Boyardi with rice cake and fish cake. Also the music was loud and obnoxious with cursing and sexually explicit lyrics. Probably not a family friendly environment on a Friday afternoon at 4.

Food was not great but it was good. Service was okay. But the reason for 2 stars is the staff had the nerve to come up to my wife and me and request 15% tip minimum on my credit card...I didnt add tip on my credit card because I thought cash is preferred. Unfortunately, that bitter taste was the last thing I had in NY...not a great memory

Came here one night and had one of their chicken bowls with rice and vegetables, which was very good but greasy, and made my tummy a bit queezy. The portions are quite large, and the staff is nice too. I would not reject this place by any means, only limit how often i frequent just to keep my health in check. Overall, good local spot.

Amazing wings and great traditional Korean dishes. Nice atmosphere with back patio. Been to a number of places you would consider "authentic" in flushing but this place takes the cake. Doesnt beat Gahwa on Union in flushing for certain dishes but its amazing for its wings

The soy garlic wings are a bad life choice. My boyfriend got them a week or so ago, and everyday he proclaims to me his need for more. They are dangerously addictive, as much as they are delicious. Hes bugging me to go now so I have to keep this short. Amazing Wings!

Bonchon is by far one of the best spots to get delicious wings. For the spicy loves, go with the hot sauce and/or order the buldak. If youre not into spicy foods, then get the wings with their soy garlic sauce. Delicious!

Personally, bonchon has the best fried chicken hands down. Period. No competition. Glad they opened this spot in Astoria. A much needed good fried chicken place. Note, they do not deliver!

Authentic Korean food! Perfectly fried chicken. Crispy and well seasoned with soy garlic or spicy glaze (Id go for both). Had their bimbimbap as well, which was legit and really good.
