Like others, I also live <5 min. from Zegarellis, yet never stopped in, until now. Lets face it, its a bit off the beaten path. I have no idea this place has been here, but the old stone building has definitely been around for a long time. Its a causal, local (or in this case, hyper-local) restaurant. Walking in, your in a somewhat plain looking bar, but dont worry - theres a dinning room in the back. They could probably make a few small adjustments to improve the atmosphere. Everything looks recently renovated; not a bad looking place overall. My table had a variety of things; veal parm, chicken franchisee, meatballs, fried zucchini, pasta bolognese - all of which was very good! The red sauce was fresh, and the all important bolognese was also very good. A surprisingly good wine selection. Service was bit sketchy, I think the girls need a bit more experience, but no specific issues. Well definitely return, will probably eat at the bar next time. Take out also looks like a good option. If they air-lifted this restaurant to Millplain Rd. or Rt. 22, they would be jammed :)

Zegarellis has been my favorite pizza place for about the past 15 years. Since I could ride a bike I was getting slices at their original location across the street from the current spot. I have never been disappointed. My favorite pizza is a shrimp and clam with a red sauce but any of theirs pies are some of the best pizza I have ever had. Other things on the menu are also great but I find the pizza so mouth watering that I rarely deviate to the rest of the menu. The famous New Haven pizza joints dont even come close to Zegarellis in my opinion. I look forward to getting a pie whenever Im heading back to the area.

I love pizza and its always great to eat it, especially at Zegarellis. There is such a friendly staff whether its a familiar server or a new one, they always stay professional and hospitable. After 4 years at their new location, their service is still just as humble as ever. This will always be my go to place for pizza, wedges, appetizers or a drink to cap off my night!!

This place has an amazingly friendly staff. They also have fantastic specialty pizzas. However the personal pies are a little large for my taste, they probably run about 10 to 12 inches across. The food is good and the beer selection is nice. You can always find one or two craft brews on tap. Overall, this is a good pizza place with a great neighborhood vibe.

Zegarellis is the best in this area. Food is plentiful and prices are very reasonable. Bobby the bar tender works Tuesdays through Fridays and is always quick to see if you need a refill and offer you the latest house special that Angelo and Joe create in the BOH. Worth the trip ..

New location as of 2013. Ample parking, larger sit down area. In fact, you sit outside during warm weather. New Bar/Grill area in front... with nice large screen TV. Like their Hawaiian pizza and they ranch dressing slices.
