I ordered delivery via GrubHub but I didnt write the address correctly. The delivery guy called me 40 minutes later and it turned out they dont deliver to my area. So I called the restaurant to see whats going to happen with the food and if I can pay for it anyway since the whole episode was my fault. I spoke with the owner and he could not be nicer. He actually refused to take any money, and was so gracious and sweet. So I didnt get to try their food but I tried their customer services and its beyond outstanding.. Thank you so much for being awesome :)

I grew up on their Chicken Souvlakis! Literally the best chicken souvlaki Ive ever had, to this day, and I just turned 22! Even though I moved from Astoria to beautiful Bergen County, NJ, I still salivate whenever I think about Family Corners chicken souvlaki, there is NOTHING better! The only place that I know of that can compete is "Its Greek to Me" in Ridgewood, NJ (although they have about 8 other locations); even still, Its Greek to Mes chicken souvlaki is a distant second best to that of Family Corners in Astoria, Queens.

Ive been going to family corner since I was a kid. Their gyro is the bomb and the staff is super friendly. Theres isnt much seating but its cozy and warm. Its got a 90s charm to it. Im sort of upset that its getting more popular with the transplant "brunch" crowd on weekends. Last weekend was the first time Ive ever had to wait for a table. Dont hipsters have trendier places to visit? Kidding. Come on down and enjoy the eats. An Astoria Tradition!

Family Corner is a second home for us. Food is great, we have been coming here for years. All the owners and staff are genuinely great people it is an absolute pleasure to hang out and catch up. Also really good for takeout for a busy weeknight. All homestyle feel good greek food.

Great diner with a good atmosphere, great food and wonderful staff and service. Theyre called the family corner for a reason! I came in from out of town and they treated me like family! Made me feel like I was home away from home! Would definitely come here if Im ever in NY.

Love this little diner. This is a place locals enjoy great food for a great price. The dinning room is small with a vintage feel. It is clean and the staff is friendly. You can sit at the counter and watch your meal being prepared by the cook. Highly recommended.

I recently moved to the area and this is one of the best diners in the area. The food is great, the waitresses are awesome, the staff overall just make you feel like home, like family. I frequent this place quite often and highly recommend it.

Back at family corner after 4 years! Another memorable and amazing meal :) the eggs were delicious but you HAVE TO ask for the FRENCH CAKE! I dont know why this has never been done before, its deliciousness :) trust me!

A small mom and pop diner with fast friendly service. You feel like you are eating over at a friends home. The food was basic diner food, but I was happy that my custom order omelette came with a lot of veggies.
