So its Memorial Day, being a Chicagoan....I was ready for great bbq! I was here 2 weeks ago and just had a drink, wings and cornbread, they were fantastic :) . So I called in my order, picked it up, got home. Well, I shouldve checked b4, the 1/2 slab was burnt, not charred which mightve worked with tender meat underneath. The side of mac was hot but dry, greens were good. I called, recd apology, and I went to pick up fresh slab..it was much better. When I got home, realized they never gave me cornbread that comes with order and fresh sides wouldve been a nice touch after my trip back and forth. The new slab was great, though I added my own sauce to it for more sweetness. My first trip was great, fantastic waitress, and atmosphere! Disappointed on my holiday dinner :(. Ill try them again)

Wings and onion rings are awesome. Customer service needs major improvement. Would go all the time bc its not far from my house but I spend my money where it seems appreciated. You walk in and your not greeted for about 5 mins., the food prep is slow and I have to remind staff to check on my order. One bartender actually jumped in my conversation w my girlfriend and offered her opinion on something very controversial. Major no-no! Will go every once in a blue moon

Had lunch here on March 24thfor the first time since it reopened as BBQ restaurant...Great Wings...I had pulled pork sandwich...very good, large portions...decent beer selection...Ill be back to try the ribs...Waitress who served us was very friendly but overwhelmed...Bartenders and other restaurant staff were very welcoming...Ill be back to eat here again.

Beautiful inside, great personable staff. Ribs were perfectly cooked and delicious. House sauce is very good as well. Chicken was a touch dry and didnt have much smoky taste. Sides - especially the greens - were excellent. Recommended.

We had the pulled pork sandwich. So temder and good. The 1911 BBQ sauce was delicious. The sides and fried pickles were outstanding. Its a small place; a hole in the wall type of place. A diamond in rough. I highly recommend it.

Food is excellent. But the staff suck. Terrible snarky attitudes, they dont inform you when they alter your bill, dont follow your orders and give you a hard time about it. Especially thst Dana waitress... god shes just awful

Nice place. Decent ribs. Chicken was small and a little dry. They were out of Turkey legs and wings when we got there. ALL THE WORKERS were VERY nice ! I will give it another try !
