So disappointed! Its over 90 degrees out and they have no air conditioning or fans!!! We drove 20 mins just to try this place out and we should have left immediately once we saw no fans or AC. Had to eat hot BBQ in 90 plus degree heat!! Started feeling dizzy and couldnt even enjoy the food or taste or anything because we were rushing just to leave. Platters dont even come with drinks!! Horrible experience!!

A great place. If you like barbecue, you need to find your way to the Avalon Barbecue Co. The #1 option in my opinion was the Brisket, it was incredible - its below the ribs in my one picture. They offer a bevy of sauces that are excellent as well. I also had a barbecue parfait, which was great. I thought this place was a home run!

$13 for a BBQ platter ... All you get is a styrofoam container with a few ounces of meat and a shot-glass worth of beans. Smh. My grandfather didnt die for this mainliners parody of BBQ. I shouldve known before I bought southern food in an uppity resort town.

The food and staff here are awesome! We discovered this place last year while on vacation and its now a tradition to hit hear every year. Dont let the one and two star reviews sway you from trying this place because they are so wrong.

Have eaten her several times this year and very pleased, quick service and food quality was very good. Cant go wrong with the sampler platter if your not sure what to get, We all also really loved the wings!!!

Amazing BBQ you cant get anywhere else locally. Prices seem a little steep until you try the food then youll understand. Just wish they were open year-round.
