The menu here hasnt changed ever. We have been going here for years and are really getting tired of the same options over and over again. Every dish seems to be seasoned exactly the same way. Too much garlic in everything and lots of salt and onions. It gets old. Also they have very few, almost no decent healthy options and Vegan options are unbelievably limited. This franchise is falling behind its local competition and really needs to make some major innovations and overhaul its menu if they are going to stay in business. This used to be our favorite go to place but we have totally lost interest. Also they used to have more affordable specials and the prices of some of their special items have shot up over the last year or two making it a little more painful on the wallet.

Possibly the worst tacos around. They simply dont care anymore. The sauces are bland and watery, flavors are plain, and everything is pricey, especially for a place I consider to be only a half step up from a Taco Bell. Nothing is really that appealing, its just a big gimmick now. "Oh hey broski you like the beach and tacos? Cool lets go to SurfTaco! Whoooah". I have nothing against the brand, just the food...and their gimmicky appeal made them become to comfortable with lack of quality. The whole franchise, not just this location.

"It is what it is". The tired phrase describes a tired chain. Step out of the bargain choices and you may be pleased. Nice choice of salsas, reasonably good fish tacos, great mexican soup for $1 with entrée. Dont expect gourmet food, but its far better than the Taco Bell disaster. Young crowd, they dont advertise BYO, but sneak in a brown bag of Corona.

Go to Jackson one, I think I just got food poisoning. Worst wrap I ever had Jackson location has always been great , I went to Toms River one because I was in the mood and Ive been throwing up for hours now.

Overall great restaurant. Good menu, nice decor, fast service and kind employees. The salsa bar is the bees knees. Only downside to this otherwise remarkable is its a bit pricey.

Garlic shrimp taco was mediocre. Way too much mayo/slaw..entirely too wet. Shrimp could have possibly been fake. No hint of garlic anywhere.
