Service and food were very off. My table of four sat at 5:05 and there was no wait. Our sever whom had three other tables show up after we sat was somehow masterful in getting those later tables their beverages and bread before us. ( We had to ask and the look my friend didnt see was of announce. ) When the soup arrived there were 2 potatoe pastas in their potatoe & chic soup. ! ( We mentioned it and were told she didnt make it and offered us replacements, this is part of their endless soups & salads policy anyway. We foolishly agreed only to fall behind waiting, Lossing our desire for the soup that had 3 pastas . ( My salad was fine and usually is.) Then came dinner,. Chicken & shrimp with pasta Bolognese, the shrimp seemed ok but the chicken sure didnt, was supposed to be grilled but in fact was more as if it were just unfrozen by Running water then pulled apart in some poor kitchen management last ditched effort. So couple that with 2 beers that took forever to receive (" as per the bar was so backed up for some reason") and u have what we all said we had.... A memorable meal ! We left at 6:39 to our amazement passing crouds inside and out.

What has happened to the Toms River Olive Garden???...This was once the best and has suddenly become the worst!!..Horrible service ( evidently we were a bother...), appetizers brought out 5 minutes before our entrees...Requested more salad and bread sticks..with an attitude. Pasta was undercooked ( not al dente...cold and sticky)...angel hair a sticky glob...What is going on??..We have always gone to this Olive Garden because of its location and consistent service and food...Very sad..Staff too busy arguing amongst themselves to care ???..Please get some help that wants to work...Thank you for letting me vent...When you take 4 peo youd like to think a nice dinner would make everyone happy...Instead of having everyone criticize our favorite place to eat...SorrCindy King 23 Oaktree Lane Manahawkin NJ 08050le out for a celebration dinner

Waitress was miserable, asked for water three times, never got. We had to ask another waitress to find our waitress to order or food. after ordering food we were brought the same dessert three times every time we said that "we didnt get our appetizers yet went would we want dessert?" One person of the party got dinner as an appetizer and was left the meal when she told the waitress that it came very early. One member mentioned a food allergy to waitress, she assured 100% that it was accounted for but confirmed with manager it wasnt the truth. We also were given two checks at the end of the meal. I think our waitress was either high or incompetent.

I really used to like going to the Olive Garden, but have had terrible experiences the last few times. The most recent was hair in the food and the time before that the server took my wife and Is orders and walked away before we could order for the kids. We had to request someone to get their order. The saving grace is the food is good, if and when you can get it sans the hair.

No wait to be seated, server was polite, friendly, and efficient. Food was exactly as expected. Almost always has specials, (we had the buy one take one home special.) Sign up for the newsletter an receive a coupon for free appetizer or dessert, which I received the following day.

The quality food is really bad. That place was dirty. And the service was questionable. The whole dining experience gave us a very uncomfortable feeling. Honestly, with the amount of Wonderful family owned Italian restaurants in this area theres no need to dine at a place like this

Olive garden is a great restaurant chain but I have had problems now and then with this particular restaurant in the past and more recently, had lunch there on 7/28/17 and ordered the Grilled Chicken Parmigiana. was the worst tasting and it honestly tasted like dish soap.

The Toms River Olive Garden never disappoints! All of the waiters and waitresses are fantastic aside from the old cranky one and the restaurant has a nice ambiance. The food is always fresh and tasty and the parking lot isnt too bad. I cannot wait to return

I had the southern taste of italy and the sauce was awful not worth $17 at all. I asked for change and the waitress gave me back a 10 dollar bill and didnt come back to my table so I could get change for the ten. I would never go back again.

I recently had gone here and was delighted to find out that there is now a little touch screen for ordering anything you want at any time of the visit .Also you can easily pay using the devise.Also I cant forget how great the food was!

The servers are professional as well as fun. The menu always has the standards but is updated and fresh with new food ideas . No matter what I have ordered it has been served hot and delicious such as the lobster ravioli.

Awesome food, I love all the pasta dishes. The unlimited soup and beadsticks is also amazing and the service is usually good. I reccomend it. But dont eat too much soup/breadsticks or you wont be able to eat dinner.

Their food is good but not enough healthy options. Just when you find something you really like they pull it from the menu. A little overpriced unless you just order a pasta dish - no meat, or look for specials.

Waitress offered to help by using the electronic pay at the table and decided she should get a 20% tip without consulting me. By the time I realized what she did it was recorded and done. What a scam !!!!!

You cant beat the salad and bread sticks. Always enjoy it every time Im there. The wait staff is usually good but can occasionally get an off night. The mints with the check are the best part!

Everything you would expect of the chain Italian restaurant. Bread sticks were hot and soft, salad was crisp and fresh, food was tasty. Jody was quick with drinks and everything else.

Always busy because the food and atmosphere is wonderful! A few staff members seem to get overwhelmed but they all try hard and are nice for the most part.
