Everything here sucks , the food , the wait , the service , the attitude.. We ordered some wings , corn nuggets , Mac n Cheese , and fries .. The order took well over an hour, so long in fact my wife considered calling , it came to the house cold and missing part of our order. We called to inform them we were missing part of our order , at this point some rude clown on the phone claimed that they were sold out , when asked why they didnt tell us when we ordered, he stated they where very busy. So busy I guess he couldnt take time out from throwing chicken into a fryer to form a rudimentary sentence? I.E. " we have no lot corn stuff left, so you gots buyeds somthin else " ? It was attitude from the start to finish, he claimed he refunded us , which I have yet to see . Lastly it all tasted like fake crap.. Traditional buffalo tasted anything but traditional , more like old coffee grinds where poured over them, the fries where edible , but the mac and cheese tasted just terrible , it made my tongue want to commit suicide , who knows maybe the corn nuggets would have been heavenly , though probably not. All in all this place SUCKS and should be avoided if you dont want to vomit up what you had to force down your throat.. P.S. He claimed he had tried to call us to let us know, but that was a load of crap just like the food, because my wife had been playing with her phone the entire HOUR we waited for our food ..

I recently started a new job in the area and was looking forward to getting Cluck U for lunch since Ive enjoyed their food at their Red Bank location (and previously at their Brick location when it was still there). I placed an order at 11:40 am on a Tuesday in anticipation of lunchtime at noon. I was pleasantly surprised when the guy on the phone told me "ten minutes", fully did not expect such a quick turnaround during lunch time. I arrived at the restaurant and found the place to be as clean as a whistle, albeit completely empty of patrons, which I thought was odd for lunch hour. (Though it is only Tuesday.) My order was filled correctly and my food was hot and ready to go when I arrived. And of course, it was delicious as I expected it would be. I will definitely be returning to this location again soon. I dont usually post reviews for an establishment after just one visit, good or bad. I felt that this location needs the rating boost due to a bad rap from a single one-star review, an unwarranted one at that (in my opinion). I dont see how someone can post such a negative review based on (what seems to be) ones personal opinions on a single item ordered in his or her very first visit. Rating a restaurant one star -- ONE STAR -- and yet considering another visit to order something else? Come on.

Firstly, we always support local businesses, so we pray these guys at Cluck U Chicken see this review and make better chicken fast, so they wont lose other customers. We ordered extra crispy and could not eat it. Even our dog would not eat it and it made us mad a little, but we just wont buy from them again. Perhaps their regular chicken is better. It was so hard to bite and so amazingly dry! My husband and I were very sad when this happened, because we were hoping for the best. I review places to eat and have thousands who see what I write. Chicken Holiday of Bayville, not very far away really, was much better. We hated giving a poor review, but its the truth, and we looked forward to this place opening up with much anticipation, so much that we expected much better chicken than what we received. Wasted our money, which made us feel even worse. I am tempted to try their fried chicken, but not extra crispy ever again.

Ordered food from the toms river location food came very late was cold and barley editable. Parts of my order were missing and when I called to complain I was told they didnt have said items I had ordered. After speaking to one staff member about my items missing he then informed me that they were all sold out . I asked why no one called me to let me know so I could have ordered somthing else and was given a disgusting attitude mid speaking to an employee who then passed the phone to someone else to give me more attitude saying that the tried to get a hold of me .. I never got a phone call . my food came late and half the order was missing . Never will I be buying food from cluck u again I dont need a nasty attitude for somthing they couldnt do right ..

If you have not yet had the Cluck, you are missing out! They make chicken to die for. My personal favorite order is a set of boneless Wingers with Atomic sauce. The best value, in my mind, is a 50 piece order - they are loose and extremely generous with their piece counts and sauces! We introduced some out-of-state friends to Cluck for lunch, and now they want to go every time they are in the area. Yes, its THAT good!

I ordered wings that were not good at all. Through the buffalo sauce you could see the gray bruised low quality chicken that taste like cardboard. Never again! Avoid!!!
