Can you say awesome? This place is great. We professionally hosted an event there today and the staff was extremely helpful. Even though we were not one of the guests, they treated us like we were and were very attentive, helpful, and kind. The manager is also awesome. I think his name is Louie. They offered us soft drinks even when we did not ask for them because they knew that we were working hard to set everything up. What made it even cooler was the fact that despite the fact that they had things to do, they always came and checked on us (the planners). They were great conversationalists as well. The food was out of this world, epically the sauteed shrimp (not sure if that is the dishs name but it was the best shrimp I have ever tasted! The rest of the food was also great. They were also great about keeping tabs on how the event needed to run in terms of timing. I wish every event ran this smoothly but when you have an awesome staff like this..things just flow. They all need recognition and I feel that they deserve this and every other good rating they receive. They work so hard, that you would think that they were working for tips. I will be back there as a patron and we will recommend them to anyone who wants a great venue. Keep up the great work guys! Monique

I wish I could add my review without a STAR. unfortunately this site requires at least one STAR. I used to go to this restaurant and it was good. after a few years, I decided to have dinner with my family there. First, we called to make sure there is no need for reservation, I was told, rudely I might add, that no reservation needed but its up to you if you come or not. weird, I thought. I still drove up to Piscataway. first, they only had the smallest room open, and this was for a Friday night. the food was horrible, nothing like Spanish food. from Shrimp to chicken and veal....rice was hard to bite on, everything just smelled bad. waiters carried the food on their arms, few plates at a time with their sleeves touching the food..........we were planning to leave quickly anyway, but the constant checking of waiters made it even faster and easier for us to leave and go home and wash down the bad taste with a good cup of tea. only thing I can think of, there must be new owners/managers since my last visits. if you still want to have dinner in this place, I suggest that yuo think twice, your health and the health of your wallet........

I went here last night with my wonderful girlfriend and we had a positive noteworthy dining experience. The food was well presented, abundant, and delicious. The staff was attentive and accommodating but not obtrusive. The atmosphere was pleasant and the price was very respectable. Having gone to TGI Fridays the night prior and having spent the same amount of money, we got the best bang for the buck at The Spain Inn by far. I would place the dining experience as above that of Outback, Longhorn, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, and the like. When you get a glass of wine, the quality is superb, the glass is full, and the price wont leave you going "Really?" I personally ordered an 18oz steak cooked medium rare and served on a hot stone which went great with my glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. We finished off the night stuffed and with left overs that I am happily eating as I write this review. If youre a Coffee snob, you will like the coffee. For my girl and I, it came to about $30 a head. The staff seem to work together as a team so tip well if you get good service. I would recommend Spain Inn to a friend.

Had a so-so time, we came out of our way to get some good authentic Spanish food seeing as though this place had decent reviews and the extra time spent to get here was not worth it. Its not bad, Its not good.. Its just so-so. The interior is in some serious need of updating. I ordered a special T-bone that came on a hot stone, the steak spattered at me the first 10 minutes of eating, and the steak had not been seasoned whatsoever, not even salt. My father in law requested the red snapper, that is on the menu, only to be told they did not have it and he settled on another fish dish he didnt really want, and further did not really enjoy. Service was good, and the drinks were ok.. All that to say, itll do in a pinch, but I wouldnt go out of my way to come here, and I wont be going back..

Havent had paella in a long while. Found this place online and came here with my family. Came in and was seated right away. There were a handful of other families there too, as well as a banquet going on. Had this avocado and seafood melody which was amazing. Had a double order of the Paella with chicken, sausage, and shell fish. That hit the spot and the flavors were amazing. Forgot to mention that we had a pitcher of red sangria which was the perfect way to end a Saturday night. This spot is a local gem and though I have lived in the area for 30 years dont know why I never came here earlier. Will be back to try other items on the menu and the service too was top notch. The servers asked if we wanted more bread, oil for the bread, drinks... etc they were on top of their A game.

The wait would have been fine if they didnt have to keep reassuring us every five minutes that we only had two minutes left. The bartender, though others would find charming, I found slightly annoying and over the top. His Spanish was very good though. As for the menu if youre a fan of seafood then read no more. Their service was friendly but I couldnt even finish their chicken breast and I gave most of it to my brother. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone I like. The food was way too overpriced and they seem to favor quantity over quantity. Seeing as I couldnt even finish the meal I left still hungry and disappointed.

If I could give this place 6 stars or more, I would. How can one describe the experience of eating in this restaurant as "better than best?" The place is clean, the staff is friendly and very accomodating, and the food is incredible. The food portions are large and extremely delicious. Steak-lovers should always order their steak medium rare. Thats because they serve it to you in a hot wooden plate, where you can press the meat on it and have it become well-done almost instantly. All in all, the food is somewhat pricey, but you get tremendous value.

The singing Bartender, Jimmy! You must sit at the bar, if not at least go pay him a visit and have one drink and then continue on to the restaurant. The whole staff is amazing as well! The sangria is a top seller, it is amazing! I love this place, they always have appetizer specials too. Everything that I am saying is 100% accurate! Go see for yourself. I just moved from Atlanta and let me tell you this is one of my favorite places when I do visit my moms house, which is just a block or two away! Attiatrills
