I went here with my wife for the first time in Nov 16. The staff was awesome and extremely friendly! They welcomed us to the neighborhood (as I told them we recently moved to Nutley), and gave my wife a free iced tea as we thought we were done and he was already running our CC while wifey was peaking her head into their cooler. They were so nice that I took my newborn there a few days later. Rae was at the counter. She was super nice and engaged me in conversation about my child. It was also a little cold out and she offered multiple times to close the door in case my son was cold. In their mission statement on their menu it says may you feel like home. We certainly did. Thanks! Oh yeah, the sandwiches are tasty. Try The Hoboken on Wed and Sat.

Ive been to Hero King Nutley a few times and have always been treated like family, the food is always fresh the bread is always fresh and just enjoy their sandwiches plus the variety they offer like the Hoboken on Wednesdays. RaeLyn at the counter is always the sunshine of the shop.

Sandwiches are huge and fresh. I work in Nutley and its a very convenient place to order lunch. Very good price for the amount of meat you get as well. Definitely recommend any one who loves a sub sandwich to go here!

I had the Hoboken roast beef sandwich. It was so good it brought tears to my eyes. As I finished it I felt like I just had a religious experience. Only angels could possibly make food this good.
