For a long time my husband and I avoided the KFC in Newton. The chicken tasted like it was cooked in old oil. The crispy crusts were hard and the chicken (for lack of a better word) was tasteless.The restaurant looked and smelled dirty. Then the KFC changed hands. We still put off going but after remembering the good memories we had of "KFC Past" we decided to give it a go. We were pleasantly surprised. The chicken was almost like the chicken of old. The restaurant was neat and clean. No one can compete with Popeyes chicken and biscuits but since we dont have one in Sussex County, this will do. When you have one of those "I dont feel like cooking" days, get some KFC to go.

Terrible experience! 1 customer ahead of me. Took 10 minutes to take my order. Manager was out front taking care of customer ahead of me, finally someone else took my order but didnt get it, he got the other persons order. The whole time the staff moved very slowly!! Took 25 minutes to get a mashed potato bowl, and the manager who prepared this did not put the gravy on it! Very poor management!! Plus at 8:30 on a Saturday they were out of mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese, beans and bisquits! Common sense says when you run low prepare more, not wait and make customers wait.

Google needs to start offering negative stars as an option. I would rather eat out of a McDonalds dumpster than step foot in this disgusting dump. Franchise owner should be ashamed of him/herself. Employees are rude. Top of the lungs profanity can be heard throughout the store.( families with children present ) Awful jokes made to and about customers and employees. Manager is present for all of this and stands there silent. Food tasted like it was prepared by people that dont give a **** about you or their job. Never again,home office called.

AWFUL... THIS LOCATION SUCKS.... EVERY TIME YOU GO IN THIS PLACE AFTER 6 THEY ARE OUT OF CHICKEN. WE ASKED FOR CHRISPY THEY HAD NONE. THEY PROBLEM IS THE EMPLOYEES START CLEAR DOWN TO EARLY SO THEY CAN WALK OUT @ 8:30 SO THE CUSTOMER SUFFERS.. THIS OWNER NEEDS TO GET HIS STAFF IN CHECK I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION IN NEWTON NJ....

Hadnt been to a KFC in a long time and heard they serve a Chicken Pot Pie now. I was expecting Banquet brand style quality...but was pleasantly surprised it was Very Good!...better than Marie Calanders! Also baked beans were yummy and good service. A Whole Hearty Yummy meal + drink & cookie....and the price was reasonable.

Awful everytime. I ask myself why I try and go back. The staff is rude and inattentive, they always either forget something or charge me for things I didnt order. Chicken isnt cooked right and the inside is always dirty! Floors,tables,counter,soda fountain, its as if no one there actually works or cares about their job.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Wait 40 minutes for chicken. Then they say they ran out of the chicken we paid extra for because we only wanted breasts and theighs (didnt want wings so they said it was a extra fee) then they dont refund us the extra fee! Night manager is HORRIBLE

Horrible service. Very unprofessional employees joking around instead of helping customers. Messed up multiple orders in front of me. Waiting over 20 minutes and still didnt place order. Horrible experience. Will not go again. First bad experience at a kfc.

Every time Ive eaten here, Ive gotten sick. Place is NOT clean. You will visibly see flies buzzing around. Service us very slow for a fast food chain. There are much better options in the area.

I really like KFC but the handful of times Ive gone here (why do I keep coming back?) the food has made me sick. I work in the area and many of my co-workers have experieneced the same problem.
