I went to get breakfast down the street and they were closed so I figured I would try this place out. I feel bad giving a bad review, but I left there unhappy. First I sat at a dirty table for five minutes before it was cleaned. Than after waiting for fifteen mins for my coffee I had to wait again for the cream. My food took 45 mins. I was alone. Than had to wait to get utensils and one napkin. I had eggs over with bacon and toast which were good and pancakes. My pancakes were dry and since the waitress never came back to my table I had to go up to the counter and ask for more syrup. Im sorry to rant like this but I was very unhappy. I think two waitresses should be able to handle 8 tables at all times and everyone get good service.

The food was very good but unfortunately I am not sure if it was due to the day being Sunday and quite busy..but our food took an hour to come and then only two meals came and 10 min later the other two came. The wait staff was very nice but we had no silverware even when the food came. Which is minor but we were there an hour waiting. I wish someone would have told us its going to be this long and offered us some items that would be quicker.Just very rough first experience. I wasnt expecting a fast food wait but over an hour would be more a dinner wait. Breakfast shouldnt take over an hour. Sorry the place was cute and the book store next door we purchased three books which was a plus with the wait.

This restaurant is small but yet cute and cozy. My girlfriend and I loved our experience here. Pros: Food was great. Loved the cappucinos. Loved the aesthetic. The mugs on the wall and the mason jars/mugs we used were lovely. Our waitress Tyler was friendly. Cons: The tables felt a bit small for me but thats a very minor thing. While I love the aesthetic of the store I think that it might need more decorations. This isnt really a negative more of a suggestion. Overall this a lovely little restaurant that I would strongly reccommend to anyone. Sadly Im only visiting NJ so I cant come back for awhile. :(

My family and I come here all the time. We love the atmosphere and food. The staff is excellent. We love the local choice of food for the menu. They catered my baby shower and months later I am still hearing great things about the sandwiches and salads.

Love this place! Super friendly staff and top notch food with a little flair. Spring St needs more places of this caliber. Can get busy so best to call ahead on a busy day like Sunday. Free one hour parking right in front.

The food was very good. I had the chili which was reasonably priced. Other menu items look very good also but maybe a little pricey for Spring St. Keep up the good work and I wish continued success for Spring St.

The decor was inviting, and the food was great. It was the best coffee Ive been able to find in Newton as well. Its also attached to the boom store is a must stop as well.
