Im really sorry to drop my first one star review....but my wife and I just walked out never to return again. We were met with a very friendly hostess who promptly sat us and told us the server would be right with us. I just wanted good beer to pair with what was supposed to be my bday dinner. That part was on par. Very nice beer selection. However, I never got to try my beer. In the 40 minutes we were there, my flight never came. We never had a server. The nice girl who sat us came over after 10 minutes of sitting in our uninspiring booth. She took our order and told me i needed to check off my flight order. Fine. She took the rest of our order and came back with the list to check off along with my wifes beer. I quickly checked off what I wanted and handed it back. Never saw the flight, but she did bring our app. It was a plate of fairly warm chicken dumplings which were good! We quickly devoured them. However, after 40 minutes of waiting for my beer in the dreary environment, we decided my bday dinner would have to be somewhere else. It really hurts me to post a one star review. I work in eCommerce and I know how bad reviews can hurt. However, I just want to tell the truth and not have folks have the same experience. I hope this was a fluke for them and they are usually better...but I wont be back to find out.

Havent been here in years, but my fiancé suggested we try the brunch so we went. And I will NEVER go again!!! First of all, the brunch was $22pp. Granted it included one mimosa, but Ive still had waaaay better for far less. And there was only one row of food selection, compared to 2 or 3 rows at other places. (Insert McCloones in west orange). The bacon was salty, the crossaints, sausage and French toast was hard. I couldnt even cut it with my fork. And who cuts French toast into squares?!?! So we talk to the manager, who after telling us how this isnt his regular store, did apoligize ans asked if we wanted to order from the regular menu. Lunch was barely any better. I ordered the sampler platter and EVERYTHING tasted like it was frozen and came out of a box. My potato skins were burnt so bad I could hardly cut them. By the time our waitress (who Im convinced was hungover) came to bring the check, I was just ready to go. The office use to be pretty good about 15 years ago, but at this point I wont be surprised to read in the patch that theyve closed down. And Ill be posting this review on google and yelp too, just incase they delete this one. A mess!!!

Friends and I had went to visit Montclair to scout the area in search for bars to hang out on. We came across The Office. The reception was nice, waiters are very relaxed and are friendly. We ordered the flights, which I would highly recommend since its affordable and gives you an adequate sample of the drinks they have. I ordered a burger that had lettuce for buns. Never knew that was a thing and it was a joy. Atmosphere is so relaxed I loved it, especially because it was getting late and our gears were shifting to low on mood. ONE THING to look out for is their fish. That was a mess. It had no taste, rubbery texture, and it had a watery taste. I didnt not taste fish in any of the bites I had. tl;dr Place is nice, comfy; people are great; foods good; dont try the fish

The place is under-staffed for lunch. The food is good but the service makes you not want to come back. When calling for pickup, you rarely get your order when they say it will be ready. The process to pay is too slow and the lack of management makes it worse. Someone should be on the floor at all times to insure customer satisfaction. In closing the food is good if you can get through the exceptionally slow service. The only saving grace in the place is Liz, she knows her job and does it well. 35 yrs of coming here and it is a shame to see it change for the worse.

This place has changed for the worst. My last visit here was very disappointing. The waiter had a bad attitude and was non attentive. The food did not taste good at all. I ordered the grilled cheese and it was hard as a rock and the cheese was not all the way melted. The soup I ordered tasted like cheap chicken broth and the chicken was dry. The only thing I enjoyed was the beer. I will not be coming here anymore.

I had always wanted to come here and without knowing it my Beloved Son brought me here today for Mothers Day Brunch. The service was absolutely excellent and very welcoming and warm. We were greeted by a beautiful smile from The Manager Brittany Hush and two of the wait staff Tiffany and Lennie were very sweet and accommodating. They both made my Mothers Day and overall experience special. Thank You Ladies!!!

The quality of food and service varies extremely here. On a good day you can expect your food to arrive warm and well prepared, along with drinks being refilled and a friendly attentive waiter. Most of my recent visits, however, were the direct opposite. The staff is too busy to pay any attention to you, the food quality and portions are dissatisfying, and it takes forever to get a refill or your check.

Server was polite and entertaining, food was good. My only complaint is the price. We had a party of 8 at the Sunday brunch at $28 pp. The price comes with mimosas but no one in our party drinks. We asked the manager of the price could be reduced because of it. He said no. So Im paying the same price as someone who gets bottomless mimosas? Thats not fair.

First visit, went to karaoke;had a fab time! Had to send the hot wings back, though, because they were under cooked! But the crowd and excitement brought us back to visit a 2nd time! It was one of the worst chs burgers Id EVER eaten! Dry! No flavor! Nasty! Both visits, I was saying THEY NEED MORE WAIT STAFF HERE! I wont be back! Im done...

This place is okay. The staff were courteous. Their drinks are a little overpriced. They had a good selection of beers. I couldnt believe they had gazpacho on the menu. That is awesome especially during the summer. I saw the bartender handle a large crowd without screwing up anything or coping an attitude. I was impressed.

The service was SUPER slow. We waited for our waiter for about a good 10 minutes and then our orders were wrong and we had to tell the waiter 3 times what we were getting. On top of that our Orders took about 30 minutes to come out. By the time the order came we had to take it to go because we had another even to go too.

I was visiting from out of state my girl friend took me there. The manager is an a***hole. We bougth a picture of Sangria and the the pitcher was chipped. So we ordered another one. We was serve a pitcher of ice no sangria and the manager refused to replace it. I told all my friends and family not to eat there
