Been a fan of this restaurant since they initially opened. Food is almost always great, and the waiters and waitresses are friendly and helpful. My absolute favorite there is probably the Wilbur skillet. There are a couple of hostesses who lack customer service skill though. Last week was a good example, I had called in a to-go order, and I went there I saw my order behind the counter waiting already. I spoke to her saying Im here to pick up my order, and she told me that she will check on my order for me. She spent the next five minutes working on the guest list on her iPad. Realizing she doesnt care whether I got my order or not, I interrupted her colleague standing next to her and asked her to get me the order (and sure enough the one sitting there is for me). Meanwhile, this initial hostess is just standing there, ignoring the conversation and transaction. Poor customer service on her part, and shes lucky that the good food coming out of the kitchen keeps me going!

I had heard a lot about this place, and seen the lines every Sunday, so I had high expectations. While my overall experience wasnt bad, I felt the meal was equal to something i could have gotten at an IHOP. Overall the potatoes in my meal were good, cooked perfectly, but the eggs had no real taste. The dish overall tasted ok, but no real flavor besides the potatoes. Additionally we called ahead for takeout and arrived when they told us it would be done. We then waited another 15 minutes to be given the food because the staff was too busy trying to coordinate the seating. This wouldnt have been an issue if the food was still being prepared, but the food was sitting around for that extra 15 minutes making it cold by the time we arrived home (3 minutes away). The variety was refreshing compared to a traditional breakfast chain, but not impressive enough to warrant a half an hour wait that it seems to generate.

This was my first experience here. We came on mothers day for brunch and there was a 2 hour wait and no reservations were being taken! That was crazy, but we decided to wait it out and shop around the plaza to kill some time. Service was good, coffee was delicious (it comes to your table still brewing in the french press, so its fresh). I got the eggs benedict on cornbread (cant remember the name of it) and it was kind of on the sweeter side because of the cornbread but it was still alright... I probably wouldnt get it again but, there were so many different delicious sounding options to choose from though (like tiramisu filled french toast?!) so I would go again to try that. Two other people I went with got the chicken and waffles and they said they wish it came with syrup instead of that "weird" gravy. Overall it seemed like very good quality food with a bunch of unique meals to choose from.

Came in and asked for a table for two at 1:15. A couple walks in behind us and ask for a table for two. A mother and her daughter walk in behind us and ask for the same. My wife decides to walk around Home Goods for a while, waiting for me to call her when were seated. First the couple is seated, then the mother and child. I check the wait list, and I see me and and another guest were skipped to seat the other parties. Didnt get seated until 2:15. Not very excited for the food, especially since its high school students in the kitchen and as the wait staff. Avoid if youre in a hurry. The service is good enough if youre patient and dont mind being treated like a plebe.

This is a reasonably cute place in a strip mall. The Belgian waffle was delicious and the Santa Fe salad was pretty good too. Unfortunately, the skillet dish they recommended as being the most popular was quite average and the chili wasnt worth eating. Two people in our party ordered the lentil soup and said it was very good. We had a long wait for a table, but they have free coffee and also little cups of Cheerios and Fruit Loops for the little ones while youre waiting. I would probably visit again but I wouldnt say its anything special.

Food was ok..nothing great. Its not brunch theres no alcohol. Ok..service sucked. Two different families next to us were already eating and half way through they realized their plates they ordered were switched. My family is Indian, a 3rd separate family was waiting in line with us (for 2 hours) and they got our seating switched because the hostess assumed our names were both Shah. So I dont know, they seem kind of off...

Great food! The place seems to be busy, so be sure to go early. The Charlie Chai Shake is amazing and by far my favorite thing to get and their specials can be a hit or a miss. I got the Chicken and Waffles and the gravy they put on it was amazing. It has a nice smokey chipotle style taste. I also tried their Tiramisu French toast and it was good. Didnt really remind me of a tiramisu flavor but it was sweet.

Very disappointed.... Waiting 15 minutes when the Hostess let people that she clearly personally new get a seat ahead of us when they walked in 10 minutes after us,I questioned her and asked wheres their name and on the list and she didnt know what to say except that they called in ahead of time.Funny the sign says NO RESERVATIONS. LIAR..... NEVER GO THERE>>>>#@W$# Manalapan Turning Point...Shame on you!!!!!

The Turning Point is an insanely popular breakfast and lunch chain. Table waits are long on the weekends, and even during the week around lunchtime. The food is good to very good, though prices are high. I think Sweet Lews and Tonys Freehold Grille are better for a traditional breakfast, but for slightly fancier fare (and far more upscale coffee and tea), this is an excellent choice.

This place is amazing. The best brunch fare in Freehold. Like others have mentioned, If you try to go on a Saturday for Brunch, youll might end up waiting 45 minutes so call ahead. But theres a reason - everyone loves this place. The rest of the week its usually less packed. I dont usually rate things online but I had to when I saw this wasnt 5 stars I thought I had to.

The food is pretty good but the staff is incompetent. We call ahead and are told no wait. Put our name in and arrive 10 minutes later. "Itll be 25 minutes. I dont know why someone would tell you no wait. Theres clearly a wait." Liars and rude. Well probably stick to the one in Sea Girt or Brick. A little longer drive but better service.

Food is great; Creative menu and friendly staff. Love the french press coffee and a pitcher of water on every table so you dont have to worry about looking for a waiter when thirsty. Creative and yummy hot beverages. Really enjoyed their huevos rancheros and hot cocoa! Just get there early - the line can be insane.

We didnt have a wait and the service was perfect. I ordered a lobster eggs benedict and the Nutty Irishman expresso. The benedict was good, needed a bit more flavoring. My sister got an omleye dish that she loved. Its cute and cozy and I would absolutely go back!
