Breakfast at this place is usually okay, so I decided to try lunch. HORRIBLE! Never again! My chicken pannini smelled like pine sol. The onion rings were unbelievably bland. They are homemade...props to them for not using frozen ring but holy crap the coating was terrible. No taste whatsoever. My boyfriends fries smelled like garbage. Either the potatoes are kept near the garbage or the oil they use is really really old and needs to be changed. My daughters meal from the kids menu was horrible too. She had the pasta with a meatball. I was expecting a huge meatball..nope one little one...one poor little bland lonely meatball on a mountain of spaghetti. The sauce..omg...tasted like nutmeg. Horrible horrible horrible. The waiter was okay...not his fault. The owner was a complete and utter A-hole. When voicing my opinion about the food...he was on the defense the whole time. I wasnt looking for a free meal, but he could have acted differently. As an owner of a restaurant, he should be in the kitchen doing quality control instead of at the register. He didnt care for my comment regarding this. In fact I offended him. I was offended after paying $50 for such a disgusting meal. Even the waiter said there had been a lot of complaints lately about the food. Never again will I be going back.

The portion size was okay; a bit too hefty I must admit. The waiter was nice but was older than I was. She seemed to insist on me having my steak cooked medium-rare so, when I heat it up again, it would not be overcooked. I felt it was right for me to make a judgment call on how I should have my steak. Other than that, the service was fine. They dont beat Tropicana Diner located on Morris Avenue in Elizabeth, New Jersey. I would not take my friends to this diner any time, although I live in Roselle, New Jersey (closer to Colosseum Diner in Linden, NJ). Thats right . . . I would drive to Tropicana Diner in a heartbeat! ( =

The customer service suck before it wasnt so bad but now it bad they burnt my french toast, and my bacon egg and cheese on a roll was sloppy the cheese wasnt melted the egg was cold and the bread was hard they didnt even ask me did i wanted any more coffee im never goin here again i wasted 30 dollars on here and the ladie who tried to give me napkins one of the napkins had a big stain on it then tried to give me a fork and knife but the knife had food on the sharp part im never goin here if u do u gonna waste a lot of money for nothing

The wait staff at Park 27 are great. Vanessa is phenomenal, she was very pleasant, helpful, and made dining their a pleasure. Im from the area but live in SC now and it was great coming here and getting great service. As for the food, that is a different story. We ordered fried fish and fried pork chops, though it was fresh it was not seasoned, so the taste was a little bland. I will say the French fries were perfect, but the rest was just ok. Overall I say give it a try, as everyones taste is a bit different.

Great Service - & Very Clean Its Sunday -after noon most places are packed for brunch] they were full but still We were seated immediately & given our drinks! - coffee which is so important :) Waitress was very friendly + staff - pleasant atmosphere/Family oriented - Food came Quick & its delicious .. I posted a photo Great diner - I didnt give it a 5 because she was just a little bit stuffy and when I was ready to go and couldnt find my waitress other than that everything was fantastic

Please save your money and go somewhere else for breakfast. I ordered cheese eggs, corned beef hash, and cheese grits. The waiter brought my food out with LITERALLY 3 SLICES OF CHEESE ON TOP OF MY PLATE... I NEVER seen anything like that. Theyre also in desperate need of new glasses. My glass was foggy, and ALL scratched up. Very unappealing, especially when drinking water. I then ordered a breakfast sandwich, Taylor Ham, Egg and cheese. $7.50! A rip off to say the least... NEVER AGAIN

After deciding to give this place one last shoot honestly i wont be back. Food is i dont even know what to say, even my goddaughter said to me,i make better eggs lol,shes 8..... I dont know if is me but this is the 3rd time i decide to come again and it just looks dirty and the food is really not that appetizing.....Friendly staff tho....

Have been there multiple times since the new ownership. Have not had a bad meal. The food, soup, and service have all been enjoyable. I even put together a last minute birthday party there with just a phone call. Ill be going there more in the future.

Great place, amazing food and the service is superb. The environment is cozy and the food choices are WIDE, I spent almost 15 minutes just browsing on what to get. Highly recommended and my wife and I will be back for sure.

I am conflicted about this diner. I have stopped in several times for a breakfast sandwich and it was very good, but the prices seemed a bit high. Whenever I stop in they are busy, and the coffee is excellent.

Very affordable and the food is divine. I had the chicken and shrimp scampi with rice. It was divine. Customer service is great, friendly staff , when you get there ask for Laura, shes so great!

The food quality has changed in the wrong direction. Apparently they dont like to clean the grill as the owner tells me they cant mix cheese in eggs cause the grill will get dirty. Such a shame
