This restaurant has potential, but its more than $11 for a fajita plate once youve "bought rice and beans" (which includes a side of chips). They charge SEPARATELY for rice and beans! Ive never seen that at a Mexican fast-casual restaurant before. Whats a bit worse than the gouging pricing (which seems necessary in part for the large staff that appears to be on hand, some mulling about not really looking all that busy), is the choice of programming they have on the TVs throughout the restaurant. In my case, I have two children ages 10 and under. The restaurant had MMA (mixed martial arts) from a Fox Sports TV station playing throughout our visit -- this is INAPPROPRIATE content for a restaurant where younger people may be dining. To be specific, the MMA content involves brutal, no-holds-barred cage style hand-to-hand combat, with graphic and VERY REAL depictions of blood and pain being televised. Maybe this is for the benefit of the staff behind the counter, but its very objectionable just the same. For the pricing and the casual and inattentive nature to what is shown on television, we probably will not be back.

In regards to the last review below mine, if there was a problem with the tv you could of easily asked nicely and told them to change the tv, everyone at Queso Grill is very friendly and i dont think they would of had a problem with that . The day i went with my soon to be one year old son , the weather channel was on and nothing inappropriate was on like they claim. Prices at this location are fairly priced and is actually a lot cheaper then other places ive been to. I had a Chicken Burrito , everything about it was fresh and it wasnt soggy like other burritos ive had before in other locations. The rice was cooked to perfection and i enjoyed it very much. 5 stars for Queso Grill & keep it up guys !!

Queso isnt a chain ... But, it should be! All indications point to something larger than a local business ... The professional decor, layout is trendy, almost (dare I say it) ... Hip. The menu is extensive, encompassing a plethora of burrito fare with numerous options (habanero!) and chili, with an additional selection of burgers and the like. Havent tried the burgers (it seems a little superfluous), but the burritos are bangin! Fresh ingredients, and a wide variety of sauces (habanero!). The chili is homemade, with a nice spicy kick. Wish I could write "check it out in a town near you", but the only way to sample their fare is a trip there ... Take it!

This place is awesome!!! I found it by accident and have been going ever since.We always get the quesadillas , burritos, and tacos. The guacamole is sooo good!! Some places cut theirs with sour cream or tomatoes, but theirs is authentic and great. the guys making the food are fast and efficient. The best is you can watch them make your food Also the manager or owner is always there and he is always working not standing around or pointing like many do. I highly recommend you trying it you wont be disappointed!

Very clean establishment. The employees welcome you as come in with smiles. If your going to eat their, they bring and serve the food to you. The food is always delicious and tasty. Plentiful in portion and always right off the grill. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Always a constant flow of patrons and folks picking up orders. The menu surely meets the needs of each family member.

Excellent local Mexican fast food. Plenty of seating, nice decor, and several televisions with sports/news, although I think most customer get takeout/delivery. Parking is a bit tight, but Ive always found parking for my large truck. In addition to tasty Mexican food, they also have burgers, gyros, and salads. Try the specials menu.

Ive had food delivered here a few times. The food has a lot of potential, but in general is a hit or miss. The wet burrito is worth the 10 bucks, but overall the food is a little overpriced. Also, my food is never hot when delivered. Ive given them a few chances, but I think they can do much better. Id still rather go to Moes :-)

Awesome food, great selection. They specialize in Mexican foods (make sure you try the specials, too!), but they also have gourmet salads and a ton of burger options. Honestly, if I lived closer, I would eat here almost daily. Also great, quick service.

Definitely a great casual place to eat! Huge menu selection and reasonable prices for quick yet good quality food. Clean seating and tables and friendly staff & service. Close to Brookdale Community College and Red Bank Area.
