I WENT TO CHECKERS OR HARDYS WHAT EVER THEY WANNA CALL IT, PLACED AN ORDER WITH MY FAMILY IN THE CAR AND THEY STRAIGHT OUT HAD A FREAKING ATTITUDE AS WE DID SOMETHING WRONG TO THEM , TALKING RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL THRU THE INTERCOM, AFTER OUR ORDER WAS PLACED THE YOUNG GIRL TOLD US TO DRIVE UP TO THE WINDOW, BEFORE WE EVEN GOT THERE SHE PUTS HALF HER BODY OUT THE WINDOW TELLING THAT WE NEED TO STOP AND REVERSE, WE FOUND IT TO BE WEIRD SO WE IGNORED HER AND AS WE PULLED CLOSER SHE TRIED TO BLOCK OUR VIEW SO THAT WE COULD NOT SEE INTO THE WINDOW, FINALLY WE PULLED UP CLOSE ENOUGH TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON AND THEY WERE PICKING OUR FOOD UPP OFF THE FLOOR AS THE YOUNG LADY WAS TELLING HER FELLOW EMPLOYEES TO HURRY UP THAT WE WERE TRYING TO LOOK INTO THE WINDOW, WE SAW THE MEAT PATTYS FRIES AND CHICKEN ON THE FLOOR AND THEY PICKED IT UP AND STARTED TO WRAP IT UP AS IF WE WERE BLIND OR SOMETHING, THE YOUNG LADY THEN TOLD US OUR TOTAL AS IF WE WERE GONNA PAY FOR THAT S**T, WE LITERALLY ASKED HER (ARE YOU SERIOUS) AND WE PULLED OFF, NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO CHECKERS NOR DO I RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE GOING THERE, THEIR ATTITUDE SUCKS, IN THE SUMMER THERES ALWAYS FIGHTS OR SHHOT OUTS IN THE PARKING LOT, MULTIPLE CARS HANGING OUT IN THE LOT TRYING TO ASK OTHERS FOR MONEY OR FOOD AND IF YOU SAY NO THEY WANNA START A FIGHT WITH YOU, DRUNK PEOPLE FALLING ALSEEP BEHIND THE WHEEL BECAUSE THEY TAKE TOO LONG WITH OTHER ORDERS , NOT TO MENTION THEY ALWAYS GIVE YOU THE WRONG ORDER OR SHORT YOU ON YOUR ORDER, THEY EVEN SHORT CHANGE YOU, LIKE WTF, THIS PLACE IS FULL OF RATCHETS, NASTY ASS HOOD BUGGERS THAT HAVE NO SENCE OF COMPASSION FOR THEIR JOB OR CUSTOMER SERVICE, I RATE THIS PLACE TO BE THE WORST PLACE IN JERSEY CITY TO EAT AT, I RATHER GO TO CROWN CHICKEN ALTHOUGH ITS HOOD TOO BUT AT LEAST THEY GET YOUR ORDER RIGHT AND SPEAK TO YOU WITH SOME TYPE OF DIGNITY , CHECKERS NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN OR FIRE THE ENTIRE STAFF AND BRING IN A CLEAN NEW STAFF FROM OUT OF TOWN, IM TIRED OF FINDING HAIR IN THE FOOD OR SOME ONES WEAVE ON THE FLOOR

I am an very frequently customer that visits checkers in jersey city nj. I goes there say 2 times a day. I really love there milkshakes and fish. Bulate at night say around 1:45 to 2 am. Visiting checkers this time of night is not good i noticed.Because when going thru the drive thru I am always told that they have no milk shakes. The young lady that was working the drive thru this particular night 1/30/17 at 1:45 am going to tell me that the machine been down all day.I kindly told her please do not lie to me I know for an fact that it was not down all day. She in returns says "OH MY GOD" i then parked my car and then goes inside and i bought me a milkshake . i do not like being ,lied to period. If you cannot or don ;t want to work then stay home. Just do not lie to a customer.

Comparing to other fast food restaurants only! this place provides clean fast food. Very nice collection of burgers on the menu, the fries are amazing. The shakes are okay nothing special same ones youll find in McDonalds. There is a seating area outside, but non inside. There is also parking and handicap parking available. There are two lanes of drive through so there is barley a wait. If you are walking in the window area is very small, the size of a big elevator. Based on my experience, I would recommend to order via the drive through due to the bad area, unless its the morning then youll be safer.

I dont reccomend for anyone to even eat at this Checkers. The employees there are not only rude, but also a bunch of pigs too. I have seen food drop on the floor, and get picked up by the employees and still serve it to the customers. Also an ex employee from there confessed how some even spit in the burgers too. Not only is the service poor, and the employees being such cruel pigs, but this place is also dirty and disgusting too. Mices crawling around the food as well. This place should get reported asap! I will never return there again!

The day crew is more friendly. Theres a bias for the drive up folks over us walk up customers. It is RARE for them to get the order wrong, I cant think of many places around here that I can say the same for. They are continually telling the beggars to leave, unlike others in the area. The day crew keeps the outside eating area picked up. I live nearby. Between the them and McDonalds next door I chose Checkers for lunch and late night.

- food is fine - staff is not ghetto as the person below mentioned (get it right) - staff is a collection of x prisoners on a work release program - what do you expect? they prefer to wear dark navy suits rather than bright orange suits picking up garbage on the highways - one of my coworkers ordered a chocolate shake, I personally question if there is a luggie in there? - they should sell the food out of vending machines

I always go inside to order my food. EVERY TIME that I have been there they have either screwed up my order or someone elses. While waiting a while for my food there's always someone coming in after the drivethru shorts them on there order. If they didn't have my chilicheeseburgers I wouldn't even bother to go there! Terrible customer service/relations! Management and hiring must be awful!

Great food but I can never understand why it takes over 7 minutes for a baconzilla meal. And even when theres not more then three people it takes a while to get your food hell it took me three minutes one time just to place an order then waited another four for the food. This is the fast food business get a move on guys

The packaging methods of their buffalo wings need to be revised. The paper-thin boxes that were lined with aluminum foil did nothing to stop the sauce from not only leaking through the bag, but also onto my pants. Secondly they didnt even cover a majority of the wings with sauce. Basically i got chicken tenders.

The staff is always rude and the wait is always ridiculous. Dont know why they have 2 drive thru if only one is open... Not to mention just the other day one employee whos name is Margarita cursed at me through the speaker all because I was in the non working drive thru. If I can give no stars I would..

I waited 25 minutes for food. No compensation. Sunday July 30th 6:00 PM staff really nonchalant about the situation. I will never visit this Checkers again. The manager was not willing to help. Extremely poor customer service, except Ayana.

if you know checkers youll only notice that the food is poorly prepd @ this place, that and the fact after about 10 visits to prove it over the years, the employee are rude and dismissive. I only go when I crave.

Greasy is a plus when it comes to Checkers. Great burgers and food, and amazing prices. This is in no way good for you -- but sometimes you need to have a nice bad-for-you burger.
