Came here to use a Groupon deal I picked up and was pleasantly surprised at the place. It has this cool mirrored mural on the wall and the general decor was fun and lively. Good music in the background too. The ordering method of marking your menu selections with a colored pencil is kind of interesting also. You can make your own burger by selecting all kinds of options. Great concept. I do think its on the pricey side though, because each option you select comes at a cost. Add on some normal options and suddenly you have a $15 or $16 burger. And that doesnt include fries - thats separate. For quality gourmet burgers, its great. But dont expect to walk out of there without spending at least $20 to $25 per person. As for the service, they were generally pleasant, but the night I went, there didnt seem to be enough servers and it took forever to get the check. After having such a nice meal, to wait another 10 minutes after Im ready to pay and leave seemed unreasonable.

Forget Manhattan! The Brooklyn food scene is really heating up. The Burger Bistro has amazing burgers, a great waitstaff and a fun atmosphere. The prices are slightly better than Manhattan also. This place is great for a first date as it is casual but nicer than "going for coffee". It is not loud, so it is great for conversation. It is also good for a last minute "lets go out to eat" night with the family. It has an outdoor area to eat when it is nice out (I havent used it yet but I will!). I had the turkey burger and it was very moist. My husband had the beef burger and said it was delicious. The toppings available were fresh and the sides were well seasoned and tasty. Our waiter was very attentive. Will definitely go back!

Ill admit, I am a little nostalgic of the early days of Burger Bistro, when burgers came served on olive focaccia rolls, but the recent minor menu changes have managed to detract only slightly from what is an overall excellent and very unique dining experience in Bay Ridge. Super plump, juicy burgers (in beef, turkey, or lamb!) that are totally customizable (my favorite - medium rare beef burger with smoked gouda, fried egg, pickled jalapenos, and wasabi mayo), an excellent craft beer selection, and creative desserts and weekly specials (a turducken burger - WHAT??). Sometimes the fries can be a little lukewarm and soggy - ask for crispy fries to remedy this.

Woof, how have I not seen this place before. Looking for some lunch and stumbled upon this Mediterranean feel Burger joint, which to be fair punches well above its average. The $11 lunch special is worth the visit which you can choose from Beef, Turkey, Chicken or Veggie burgers - included is one side, cheese and any topping for the burger. Everyday is a special, ranging from 1/2 price appetiser or best still half price beer on a Thursday (same for wine on Friday and Saturday). Many choices for burger topping, way too many to list and loads of different bread too. Cant recommend this place enough, first date or just casual dinning. Its a winner.

Came here for lunch during the weekend. We were fairly early, so there were plenty of tables. The waitress was pretty accommodating with us since we had a toddler. The menu comes with a pencil marker to check off for our build-a-burger. He chose the kobe beef with regular fixins, and I chose the beef with bacon bits. I read Yelp reviews about the buffalo tater tots, so had to order a plate of it. We took a few bites of the taters and we were full. Theres a lot of crumbled blue cheese on top, and a side of blue cheese sauce for dipping. The burger itself was pretty small in size and portion, and it is on the pricey side.

dont eat here ever . i had a groupon for $20 i bought a turkey burger sweet otato fies and ice cream soe how it came to $24.50 the y actually charged me for a small thing of chipotle mayo $1.50 I asked the manager to remove as i didnt see the $1.50 charge on their menu color in for 5 yr olds the manager became enraged. He told me to choke and die I was in disbelief he belongs in a mental institute . Im askig a refund and i ran out of there and never going back. The food is fatteningand salty and unhealthy. Never eat here and I thing they are violet against single females.

It used to be the best burger in Bay Ridge before Korzo came along with its olive oil voice and guinea charm. If you go to Burger Bistro, get just the classic one with bacon and cheddar on a brioche bun to appreciate it, but definitely take advantage of the special ones too. They can be hit or miss depending on your tastes - the rodeo burger had too much bbq sauce for MY taste but maybe would be loved by some Neanderthal who likes that sort of thing. The Buffalo tots are great too, to the point where I dont even think I remember what the fries taste like.

We were here yesterday afternoon and the burgers and fries are fantastic. You get to create your own burger starting with the type of patti, toppings, sauces and bun. I had a veggie burger with avocado, sautéed mushrooms and chipotle mayo and sweet potato fries. Perfect portions and delicious! Cute place and service was great although we were the only ones in the place lol. My husband had the beef burger with tater tots and he was equally satisfied. I will definitely return and recommend it to burger and food lovers.

Love how you can customize your own burger. I went with a meat, medium, with caramalized onions, italian sausage, and cheddar cheese. It came out a bit medium rare but I can see why with 30 of us ordering at once it was probably hard on the kitchen. Besides that the customized burger was great. Juicy, flavorful, onions and sausage cooked to perfection. Even the soft roll complimented the burger great. Didnt fall apart at all. I had mine with a side of fries and it came out crispy the way i like it.

Note: Call ahead if you want your burger on a donut!!! I went using groupon and the donut bun was their only advertised picture, so I was excited to have one, until I got there and the waitress said they only have it on Weds. unless you request ahead of time! Other than that sandwiches were really good but comes at a steep price once you realize fries are not included ($6 add-on) Pic: Turkey Burger, Smoked Gouda, grilled Pineapple (some stolen bacon from my friend, LOL)

On the pricey side, but the burgers are *really* good (and we are picky!). One of the few places where I know my burger is going to be delicious, and worth every cent. Its a build your own model, and the various options can definitely get pricey, but they absolutely know how to cook a burger. Weve only ever eaten there, so I cant say how their delivery is, but the service on-site has recently been very friendly and efficient.

I usually get the turkey burger and tastes great evey time. Most turkey burgers may come out fry and unappetizing but not here. Tater tots are a must have but not the buffalo tater tots because the sauce makes the tots all soggy. Their fried onions are also delicious and you can even add it to your burger. When youre costumizing your burger and adding toppings/sauce left and right, it will be costly. Free refills on drinks!
