Burgers. The most quintessential American food. Ubiquity breeds complacence, and mediocrity. The last few years, we seem to be in a bit of a burger renaissance, with results that seem to follow that general pattern - mostly forgettable. Thats why this tiny burger joint comes as a pleasant surprise, swimming upstream against both the tide of mediocrity and the terror of mixed metaphors. The menu isnt extensive, but they have wisely stuck to basics, beginning with high quality ingredients. Usually, the term "gourmet" causes a sharp intake of breath, a groan, and a shake of the head when it is applied to burgers. These are BURGERS! Nothing is worse than pretentious food, except perhaps the folks who like pretentious food (you know, the type who would be offended at being labeled as "folks"!). I am happy to report that 418 manages to sidestep the pitfalls, and serves a burger with high quality ingredients and options, but still will please the proletariat - and cardiologists, who begin to look longingly at yacht catalogs every time a burger joint opens. The dining area is small, but clean and neat. Service is exceptionally friendly and outgoing. Right out of the box, 418 seems to have a recipe for success. Go get yer burger on!

Ive been here about 5 times and have tried 3 burgers from their menu. 1.Price: 0.7/1 A burger + fries + soda = about $15 which is a little too expensive 2. Quality: 1.7/2 90% of the times really good, 10% of the times the burgers are raw for some reason 3. Ambience: 0.8/1 inside sitting is ok but they have outdoor sitting during summer. 4.Service: 0.8/1 Good service most of the times OVERALL: 4/5 Cut the price down a little bit and everyone would be happy.

They do three things and do them right. Burgers, grilled chicken and fries. There is a pokestop on the building also of thats your thing. The thing that I really love is their dedication to cleanliness. They wash their hands before making your food, wipe down the counter each time , and switch gloves after handling money. They also put the burgers on a well thought out did platter if you are trying to cut calories and carbs.

Burger joint of choice, worth the drive from Morris County! Price is justified by quality of ingredients, which make this a special kind of place that franchises just dont stack up to. Compact menu where every item shines - burgers are juicy, fresh, and flavorful. Staff is super-friendly and polite. Its awesome to see how much passion they have for their product. Love this place

Great little burger place. Have been there twice now, and both times the food was consistent. The fries are great. It is a well made burger, with fresh ingredients in mind. If you want pure grease, white rose is up the block (and also awesome). This place is right next to Pinos, so you can get a burger, walk across the street and grab a refreshing beverage.

There are over 100 places within driving distance of my home that have burgers. When I want something special I drive here. The food is crafted by people who care about how good it is and offer choices far beyond what any other burger place have available. Tell them what you like and have them suggest a burger for you, I have never been disappointed.

The falafel burger was great, both the tahini and tzatziki sauce tasted great with it. People working there were very friendly and helpful. One of them went out of his way to let us know that the buffalo sauce isnt vegetarian which was very thoughtful and much appreciated!

Got there at 9:40pm and it was closed, Ive been told their food is great and wanted to try it, hope next time you guus are open. On your side, it was a rainy day, so I guess it was slow, but still, I wanted to try your food and am still hungry now :(

Got the 4oz cheeseburger with sauteed mushrooms. Their mushrooms are actually fried and were so crispy. It added a very nice texture component to the burger. Loved it!! Will definitely make this place a regular.
