Months ago, I decided to try Stefanos for the first time. I ordered a regular coke with my pizza and upon delivery they brought me a diet coke and said that they were out of regular coke. The pizza was good, but I do not drink diet coke as I dont like the taste so I called to speak to a manager. She was very rude and I explained I would have appreciated a call to ask me what I would have liked in place of coke instead of deciding for me and bringing me a diet coke, which I threw away. I would have liked a sprite or something else. Then I requested they credit that amount for the next time that I ordered. The next time that I ordered, the pizza had a 5" piece of hair baked into the cheese and I assume this was on purpose for my previous complaint. I called immediately and asked for a complete refund which was never done. Its completely unacceptable. I would recommend for delivery Romeos and for eat in or pick up Dusals. Never had a problem once for years with them. The only two time I tried Stefanos there was problems.

The owner Gary is physically and verbally abuses to all his staff even in front of customers. up until this week i was an employee and he has not only put his hands on me but has screamed at me cursing and yelling over everything he can think of. He also lets his pizza chef Margarito sexually harass all the young waitresses while he drinks on the job and when the waitresses say something they get yelled at. Grabbing a girls butt and breast repeatedly is not ok.. Gary is also being divorced by his wife for numerous affairs with employees and just within the last two months he punched his own 18 year old daughter in the eye and was in jail for a week for it, His daughter is pressing criminal charges, and has a pending lawsuit against him . his soon to be ex wife is gain after his share of the company and the store may close because of it. stay away from this place at all costs. and all my secret taping of these events will go on youtube and i will post a link to them sll.

Like the food..however at this point I think I cant even bring myself to order from them . Every. Single. Time I order I get some kind of immature personality on the phone. One time when I asked for delivery ( Im 3 miles away ) the guy actually responded with " AW DUDE CMON " The following time... actually had to just hang up the phone actually because the boy literally couldnt understand what I was ordering. Messing it up every time he read it back . And of course my attempt to correct his reading just confused him more. Then this time I ordered a large piece with a topping and the girl is half listening. Had to repeat the topping 3 times. On the third time she responded with a nasty "WHAAAT" as if she never heard of it before. This isnt that difficult. Get a normal, mature human being to answer your phones so a long time customer actually wants to order from you. In the meantime Im taking a break from stefanos.

This is the last time we ordered food from them. Were 2 minutes away!!!!!! Less than a mile! We ordered one pizza at 9pm, (not really some huge complicated meal for 8 ppl). They couldnt locate the driver when we called at 10:00, but we were told the pizza left 30 min ago. Called again at 10:15 they told us the driver is pulling into our driveway. 10:30 we ordered from Dominos. 11:00 pm (!!!!! 2 whole hours later!), Stefanos is still not here, but Dominos delivers!!!! Yay!!!! If we werent this hungry, this story would be comical. What a service. Not even a phone call from them. Never again. Have i known, i wouldve went to pick up ANYTHING in town, instead we ended up sitting around starving for 2 hrs, till Dominos came to the rescue. We are on Dutch Lane in Freehold Boro. 11:15 still no Stefanos, still no phone call from them, completely ignored after 2 calls.

Food is always the best. The plain slice is the best Ive ever had. The meat-stuffed is excellent. The dishes from the back are also good. The owners are friendly and always willing to speak with their regular customers. Ive been going to Stefanos for >20 years, since they opened. Deliveries are always timely - that means when they tell you 45 minutes, its going to take that long! The drivers shouldnt speed - I saw one getting a ticket once! Thats a weeks pay down the drain! I also tip the drivers $5 - theyre earning minimum wage & driving their own cars. Frankly, if you dont want to tip, you should consider picking up your order.

The food was good-especially the starter platter and the souvlaki.But it was so loud that our group couldnt talk to each other. The live band was good enough and we even enjoyed some dancing, but my ears are still ringing hours later. Even when the band wasnt playing, the background music was too loud. If you go, try not to be there when they have a band. One other thing- our large group was seated very close to another large group, when the place was half empty. We were crowded and it added to the noise problem.

Whenever I am in the area dropping off a customer I stop by. I have only had pizza here, as I do not have a lot of time to eat, but it is tasty. The female staff members seem very nice and helpful. I like how they have some chicken dishes and such readily available like a buffet (looked to be about 3 options). I wish I saw this sooner, but I am always in a rush. Will be trying something ready to eat next time. Its very good for people who cant wait for a chicken or pasta dish to be made.

Stefanos has a great selection of food for the price and quality. My family has been frequenting this location for the last 15 years and we do not get our pizza or Italian dishes from anywhere else. The Sicilian pie is outstanding and the margerhita pie is the best around. The vodka sauce is delicious with any type of pasta and the chicken dishes are plentiful in quantity and quality. Anything made by Angelo, one of the owners, is absolutely out of this world.

Stefanos does have okay food but I agree with others that the service is HORRIBLE. The one delivery man with a ponytail is so rude its unbelievable. Im surprised he hasnt been fired yet. And it always takes FOREVER for the food to arrive. I understand if you are ordering on a busy friday/saturday night or during lunch hour but an order for one person shouldnt take 45+ minutes at any other time. There are definitely better places in Freehold to order from.

Stefanos has some of the best pizza in the area IMO, I have only gotten delivery so i can not speak for the service in the restaurant. I can say although, the older gentlemen delivery driver is awesome, he remembers we have a baby and knocks instead of ring the doorbell, thats service! I find it strange that some people on here get mad when a delivery driver gets upset he dosent get a tip!! Come on people, these drivers live on tips.
