Not worth it... Ill start by saying I didnt expect five star food or service from this place however I certainly expected better than what we got. Ill start with the service... Our waiter wasnt rude or horrible but he also had a very bland personality and seemed overwhelmed. I tried to order a beer I thought they had on tap and it wasnt and was looking for a suggestion, he had none. So I asked for a frozen mango margarita and in all honesty that was very good. My husband and I ordered a few things to share so heres our review: Jack Daniels burger: the roll was dry and seemed old and the meat was LOW quality. The sauce was a bit much, it reminded me of a meatloaf made with the Lipton onion soup. That came with waffle fries and I was looking forward to that but they were OVER COOKED(hard) and not seasoned. wings: they were pretty good, I liked the sauce a lot but the wings were small and slightly dry. Guacamole: you could tell that it was made fairly fresh but needed to be seasoned better... Needed lime and salt! The biggest problem I had with the guac was the price... $13 for that and a few chip. The other issues I would say were we sat outside during happy hour but they only honor happy hour inside the restaurant. That is so ridiculous because its all one establishment and I found that to be a MAJOR turn off.. And we had a problem with bees... Not sure if that could be helped but it was annoying and really ruined our time. Im sure next time I would choose one of the surrounding restaurants over this place.

This place is abysmal, full of racist assholes. Came to eat and have a drink with a friend, they were fine with her NY ID, but told me they wouldnt serve me because I was using my greencard as an ID. My incredibly official document was not good enough, they told me to also bring my passport. The server was a complete jerk about the whole situation, I guess this place is only good enough for the local patrons. Which is fine, because the food we did get, as we ordered that before drinks, was DISGUSTING. An onion soup and a burger, both favored only with copious amounts of salt. Burger went straight in the garbage. The establishment and employees are a joke, Im embarrassed to have stepped into this place, but the place we tried going a block away was closed. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS, unless eating cardboard with a bunch of racists is your jam.

This place is a hole in the wall. Bit tacky inside and out, but they have a great selection on tap. The food is good - I highly recommend the pretzel sticks. We did have a bit of a mishap with a waitress (not ours) dumping a tray of wings on one person in our party which put a bit of a damper on the whole thing (she had to take her shirt off, it was all over). I do think the manager should have comped her meal or something but all he did was offer a shirt. If it were just 2 of us, I honestly would have left the waitress a tip and walked out - it was just bad.. We left with a bit of a sour experience, especially the girl that had to pretty much strip in front of everyone and wait to leave.

This place is your average bar food nothing else. Ive called in lunches multiple times and wasnt surprised that ithe order wasnt ready when i got there. Jester stays very busy do to the local seen. I wosh the jester would get there priorities right. every customer deserves to be address in a fast orderly fashion whether its a le carte or sitting in a chair. They are priced competitively and will be here years to come. Overall expect Bar like service not some primo elegent place not the place you want to bring a date just a place to bing your college buddys to maybe watch a baseball game

Great classic downtown Freehold restaurant and bar. Like a hole in the wall, doesnt fit a huge crowd, but that is what lends to its charm. I have been going to Court Jester since childhood so any trip is nostalgic and awesome. I love the nachos here, and the wings, both rock. A true classic gastropub, dont miss out on the Jester!

Best nachos on the east coast! Always a wait on summer weekends especially for outdoor dining, but the ambiance is worth it. Tons of beers on tap as well as plenty of bottles. Youll always catch the best games on TV, and if you sit outside there is always something musical going on in Freehold.

I love the court jesters, all of them. This location though has sidewalk seating and a nice view of main street. If you like people watching then this is a good place to do it. Also they have 31 beers on tap, so you are likely to find one you will like.

Came here many years ago, the bartender at the time recommended a certain beer and peanut butter pie pairing. It was amazing! So were the beers. So much so, I have a local store owner in San Diego that orders the very beer I had here.

Great food, tacos and wings are the best around. All the food is excellent, and they have an all you can eat buffet that always has something good. Staff is always real friendly. Definitely a place to come back to again!

The old school type of bar. Good food but you pay for it which is ok. Street tables nice and the passers by are from off the chain beautiful to needs some love. All in all came back time and time again.

The food is ok and a little pricey. Not sure what market price means for getting guacamole but I cant imagine avocados price fluctuates that much. Typical bar food, nothing special.

Great place for beers on tap, Ive been coming here for years, Try the CCCB (California Chicken Cheeseburger) and like it says on the menu BEST WINGS IN NEW JERSEY!
