Poor overall Arrived ~ 11:30am and asked to be seated in one of two empty booths at the back, hostess told us that they could not because it was a 6 person (vs 4 of us). She pointed to another booth that needed to be cleaned and offered to seat us there. We waited 5-10 min while they prepped it. There were others booths that could seat 4 people on the opposite side of the dining area and guests of 3-4 were being seated as we waited, but none were offered to us. Just as they finished cleaning, the same hostess offered our booth to a couple that had walked in. We had to interject, and she realized her error, and told we could sit. (The table settings were not put out, and we didnt have menus) A few min after sitting, we realized that one of the 6 person booths was occupied by 2 people. The waitress came to take our orders and realized we still didnt have menus, she offered coffee/drinks and returned with them and menus. The orders were eggs / pancakes all around, this took almost 30 min. The food was great, but when the server came to offer refills on coffee she never returned. We waited 15 min and tried to get someones attention but everyone was busy. We finally got her attention and asked for the check, paid and left. I can understand if the place was super busy, but it wasnt. Everyone (except us) was seated right away, and there were plenty of people running around that could have attended when we needed. (The hostess/cashier area had 4 people at all times) There isnt a shortage of diners on this stretch of road. The Point diner is 1/4 mile north, and Gotham city diner is another 1/4 after that. If you have competitors that close by you need to excel at either food or service. (Preferably both) I dont plan on returning.

Whats with all the hate? I have been coming here for several months now...The servers are the nicest bunch of girls you ever wanted to meet....The food is abundant and pretty good all the time...The prices are reasonable. I would also like to compliment the cleanliness of this place...This place is immaculate...I am also impressed with the things the owners do with the kids...You can see the drawings and notes in the lobby...I bet its a bit true that the owners are very strict....Guess what.... Too bad..I have managed multiple businesses in my life...You must stay on top of things...keep people in line...And manage accordingly..I will continue to come here where I always get good food, a smile and an overall nice experience...

THIS IS THE WORST EVER PLACE TO WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1. PPL WHO WORK THERE ( MANAGERS, SERVERS AND THE "BOSS" ) DONT TREAT NEW EMPLOYEES WITH RESPECT. 2. THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO TRAIN NEW EMPLOYEES. 3. THERE IS A MANAGER WHOM TALK TO EMPLOYEES LIKE HE IS BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE FOR EXAMPLE:* ARE YOU STUPID OR DUMMED?? * YOU ARE NOT ALLOW TO ASK ANYTHING ABOUT THE CHECK TO ANYONE EXCEPT THE BOSS. * IM GONNA SEND YOU HOME FOR NO LISTENING, ( I WAS ON TRAINING, LEARNING HOW TO USE THE PC). 4. I WAS GONNA BE CHARGED FOR THE TELEPHONE CABLE, WAS SUPPOSED TO BE STRAIGHT BUT AUTOMATICALLY GETS CURLY. 10 DOLLARS OFF OF MY CHECK IF I DONT PUT IT RIGHT.

I called in for delivery recently, even though I had dined there before and been disappointed (nothing else was open for delivery). The standard number of wings in an order of wings is 7 (I had to call to verify, I was in such disbelief). The lobster bisque was disgusting, had a chicken broth base and was full of old noodles. And the vodka sauce was unlike any Ive ever had, in that it wasnt a vodka sauce, but rather some crude mix of tomato paste and milk. Will never eat food from there again. Disgusting.

The other reviews are fake and posted by the owner. This places is a ripoff especially when their burgers are over priced. I ordered a plain cheeseburger it was literally a plain cheeseburger with no lettuce, no tomatoes or anything. Also the water has particles of "stuff", really have no idea what it is... I wish I went to McDonalds instead. I would never return here again. I would advise you do the same. There was nobody there and it felt very uncomfortable and unfriendly.

Waiter was pleasant and food (chicken parm, French Onion Soup and Fettuccini Alfredo) was ok, but the experience was horrible. The waiter mistakenly added an extra soup on the bill, and when he approached his manager to void it, he was scolded badly in front of us. It got to the point where I asked the manager to take it easy on the guy. That it was a simple mistake. The experience definitely weighed over the subpar food so I must give this place a two star.

Me and my girlfriend eat here all the time! We absolutely love the service and at home feel, but to be brutally honest its all about the FRENCH TOAST!!! I am a breakfast aficianado so clearly I am picky, but this place has the fluffiest most delicious and NOT overly filling French Toast ever! It and the Diner is a God send, so I have to give my propps to BLVD. Diner, its the most delicious place in New Jersey!!! V.V./C.D.-

I eat here at least a few times a week and its always a tough choice what to order because everything is DELICIOUS and the portions are very generous! They have the best bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries! If there’s room after that, there’s always so many fresh and yummy desserts to choose from cheesecake to giant cookies. Staff is great and always smiling which makes eating here all that much better :)

a very picky costumer. Boulevard diner has the best cheeseburger with no doubt! Its not only about grass-fed grain fed black angus prime etc incuding my new favorite "brioche roll" Its the quality of the meat, the perfect ratio of bread/meat/cheese/add ons and the love that goes on it from the heart! Its made with passion! And thank you for not using the brioche roll.

love going in this diner with with sunday papers relaxing with a delicious breakfast. the owners are professional and so is the staff. if your up early on sunday give it a try! the hubby and i will be there sunday as usual! note: we are also not owners we are customers who love it here. the subrealworld review must actually be a desperate owner looking for business...duh.

I come here all the time and their cheeseburger deluxe is MY FAVORITE!!!! The burger is always cooked perfectly and the fries are always nice and golden crispy!!! The breakfast is awesome too..Im there every Sunday afternoon for their omelets w home fries!!! Staff is sweet and hosts are very gracious! LOVE this diner!!!!!!!

My friend and I decided to try it out. Were foodies and we loved it! We had breakfast, Im a pancake fiend answer I have found a great place! They use FRESH strawberries and the pancakes were the best I had in a while. Please support this place, I want them to stay open! Finally a great place to eat 24/7, in Jersey!!!!

Live in neighborhood... professional and friendly staff...wifi...music always playing ... good selection of slightly above average lunch and dinner menus... breakfast menu is better than average, but bacon is soso... prices are a little higher, but they have pretty good specials... its def worth a decent quick meal.
