La mejor comida Uruguaya que comí en USA, la Pizza es igual a la de LA PASIVA, y tiene muchos postres y bebidas de Uruguay como Paso de Los Toros Pomelo y cerveza Pilsen. El ambiente es de familias y muchos Uruguayos. The best Uruguyan food I have tryed in the US. The pizza is an exact reproduction of Uruguayan tipical pizza from a local chain called La Pasiva. They have great pastries and deserts as well as beverages from Uruguay like a Grapefruit soda mixed with tonic water called Paso de los Toros and Pilsen one of the most populars in Uruguay. The enviroment is family friendly with tons of Uruguayans around so you know is authentic.

The place is ok at best. The service is mediocre not very friendly or experienced. As for the food, if you go early on the week you most likely have left overs from the weekend and if you go during lunch then your getting left overs from the previous night. The best time to go is from Thursday onward. I found that on friday, saturday and sunday the food taste better. The food at is best its Ok, my take is that people go here to reminisce about Uruguay than the actual food. The prices are very high for what you get. This place is very expensive and the portions are small.

I like it the first time enough to come back second time I asked for a one person parrillada but the chicken and the sausage came straight from the freezer and the spinach in the callenoli was full of under cooked spinach and the whole place needs to be bleached down there is too much to fix to complain about to the staff

PIZZA! My husband cant get enough and the milanesa napolitana and the canalones are delicious. My husband is from Uruguay and for him when hes feeling homesick this is the place to take him. The pastries are great too!!
