I was pleasantly surprised to receive a coupon via email for a free large pizza for my birthday; however, all that changed when I tried to redeem it. I initially tried to call a different location that was closer so I could have it delivered, but was told I needed to redeem at the Elizabeth location. When I called to order, the girl that answered seemed confused at my request. Once my order was confirmed she asked for delivery or pick-up. As I wasnt sure I asked if they would deliver in my town. She wasnt sure (said No/Yes/Maybe/I dont know in the same breath) so she asked someone else there. When asked what street, I gave my street name and she said what twice, then I hear her say "east something street". Once confirmed that No they do not deliver to my town, she proceeded to speak over me to tell me to call the other location. Even though I tried to state the other location already confirmed I needed to call the Elizabeth spot, she repeated the phone number for the other location then she transferred me to some guy that also proceeded to speak over me to give me the phone number as I tried to repeat myself that it was not an issue for me to pick it up, I was just asking if they delivered to my town. Then he told me I needed to put my order in online. When I tried to inform him that I had already attempted several times he said to try again. I kept having to struggle to get a word in b/c they sounded like they just wanted to get rid of me and hang up, and I was just trying to tell them that the site instructed me to call the store directly. He said he didnt have anything to do with the online portion but then put me on hold and then asked me for the coupon number. Every part of this whole conversation conveyed that these people didnt care and didnt want to deal with me or the offer. I could have potentially ordered additional items but decided against it after my call was handled so rudely. When I went to pick up the order, the place was dead and there were at least 5 people working in the back, the way they were rushing me off the phone made it seem like they were busy. They were lucky to get a "Thank you" out of me and not some choice words that were brewing in my head, but they surely didnt return any words of welcome. And how good did that free pizza taste, not very good at all. I will go back to ordering from my usual spots and avoid Michelinos in Elizabeth from here on out. The free pizza was not worth it.

It was close to closing time (10 mins) which is why I called prior to arriving (I was on my way) and requested 2 slices. The female employee said please make sure you come soon we are closing soon 10:50. I arrived 4 minutes later, double parked because I assumed Id be in and out. The door was locked even though it wasnt closing time yet, but that part I understand, I used to work retail in high school. But the part that was extremely rude was that I was standing at the door for 5 mins and there was a group of men talking and laughing and the female employee was cleaning the counter. They all saw me waiting at the door and completely ignored me. At first i gave her the benefit of the doubt. Then I started knocking and 2 men made eye contact and the girl kept peaking at me through the corner of her eyes.... REALLY? I called prior to arriving and they said yes COME. To only IGNORE me standing and knocking. At least have the courtesy of "mouthing" "we are closed". I am completely disappointed because I have been going there for a while and had recommended their pizza (NOT ANY MORE) Definitely lost a loyal customer and the sad thing is that I called and she said I should have knocked (I DID) while STARING at me drive away - so she knew I was there.

MICHELINOS PIZZERIA WHERE DREAMS ARE MADE OF. If you dont come to this restaurant youll regret it for the rest of your life. I havent been to a better restaurant my entire life. I literally came across the continent of America to eat at this establishment. Pizzas handcrafted by the finest pizza makers in the world. Fresh dough, Fresh mozarellas, Fresh pizzas IT DOESNT GET BETTER. The atmosphere is out of this world and so is the service. You heard it here first, this is the best pizzeria in the world. Please, for the love of God, eat here.

I use to really like it here, they had the best pizza in town. Ever since that tall She-man started handling the register its gone down hill. She has a horrible attitude with no respect towards her customers. If you dont like the pizza making business you inherited then you should have studied for something in school. The pizza is always burnt or you can just tell its been made hours ago. I havent had a fresh pizza here in a while. Im done with this place, Im going to spinners from now on.

Best pizza in Elizabeth. The service is also great too, because Ive had some very embarrassing moments where Ive spilled some soda or (even) accidentally slid an entire pie onto the floor, and they were nice and sympathetic enough to not give me a hard time about it (even gave me replacements free of charge even though it was clearly my error that caused my food to hit the floor). The crust is thin and crispy, the sauce is slightly sweet and not overly salted. Good. Pizza.

Hi everyone, my wife and i come from jackson new jersey to Elizabeth to paint windows and murals. Each time we come we are welcomed with open arms by the owner jerry and very friendly staff. We eat all over newjersey because of our profession and can honestly say the food is excellent as well as people... we would highly recommend.

I feel terrible writing an average review as our meal ended up being free. However, the four of us dining were so disappointed I feel it is important to share our experience. My wife was very excited to dine here after reading about Ursino reopening in a recent NJ magazine. We made reservations via OpenTable.
