After being told by several of my friends about how good Golden Garden was, I finally decided to give them a shot. I was not expecting too much considering that when I finally found the place, it was quite literally a hole in the wall. Really, its less than ten feet wide. I figured with all the Chinese places in the area, how different could they be? Right? Wrong!! Golden Garden is without a doubt the best Chinese resturant since the New York Tea Garden in Morristown. Everything I ordered was delicious. Not salty, no sugar added, and no msg. The fried rice was the best I have had in years. It wasnt that nasty yellow rice served in most places around here. The fried wontons were done perfectly. The chicken lo mein, mongolian beef, chicken and broccoli, and general tsos chicken were outstanding. The staff is very polite and friendly, and appears to be a very young group. Golden Garden is my new go to place for Chinese take out. I live in the Bayway area of Elizabeth. I pass at least a dozen Chinese places to get to Golden Garden. In my opinion, Golden Garden is definately worth the trip. JB Remington.

Had them deliver to the Ramada Plaza at newark airport.Food arrived promptly, the delivery person gave me back change when I handed him 5$ more than the bill, showing more than a little respect to me.When I handed him back the 5$ he bowed to me and thanked me.Food was HOT and DELICIOUS.If you are in or around Newark airport for work or vacation or whatever I HIGHLY recommend these folks.Also, my order came with a 2 sprite (which was both free and welcomed), napkins, plastic silverware and all the normal sauces (soy, mustard, and, Sweet and Sour)These folks DESERVE your business, you will NOT be disappointed. Prices are MORE THAN fair, awesome value considering the large portions.

Probably the most disgusting Chinese food Ive ever eaten in my life. Vegetable Lo Mein was overcooked, greasy, had barely any vegetables in it and had a horrible taste. I had to chew on the General Tsos chicken for several minutes before I could even swallow it. Felt like I was chewing on fibers and made me gag. Wonton soup was rubbery. This place must have either changed recently or its getting rated by people who have no idea what even halfway decent food tastes like. Pathetic and shameful.

I ordered food to be delivered, after 20 minutes they call me back to confirm my order. I confirmed it and the guy told me " Im going to start making it now". Another 20 minutes pass and they tell me that they cant make my order. Why didnt they say that from the beginning, I waited 40+ minutes for nothing. Ive been ordering from there for a long time and I garentee you itll be the last time I call them for sure!!!!!

this restaurant is one of the best chinese food places i have eaten from and ive been all over the tri-state area. Their boneless spare ribs is something to die for and they serve you with love and respect....and i was shocked to see a black american driver deliver my food, he was kind and nice enough to where i felt i needed to tip him. way to go golden garden your the best!

IF I COULD I WILL GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS, THEY ARE VERY RUDE DONT KNOW HOW TO TALK TO PEOPLE. THE FOOD TOKE FOR EVER TO GET TO ME ,AND THEY CHARGED ME $2.00 EXTRA FOR DELIVERY AND THATS WHY I DIDNT TIP THE DRIVER . BUT THE DAME FOOD IS GOOD . TO EACH IS OWN.
