Been to all of the So Gong Dongs except for this one. We decided to try it Saturday. What a gem! We were going to be seated by the manager but a nice waitress intercepted us and took us to the window side. We were seated on the far corner and what a view of the Manhattan Skyline. THe food was good but the service was over the top. From the main waitress to the water amigo it was great. There was no "territory". Everyone was on the same page of making the customers happy. The prices seemed lower compared to the other tofu places Ive been to in Jersey. I would recommend it!

Ive been there twice. The food wasnt bad but the staff was extremely rude. Got there at 9:15 ( sign says open till 10:30), waiter said the kitchen is closing soon so we had to put in our order fast . I can unstated that. He never came back to the table to check in with us .But as soon as 10:00 pm hit he came back with the check mid meal and said he wants to close out the register . The staff even went as far as to rase the radio to a deafening level where the speakers were going to pop to , to shoe out the customers at 10:15 . Ill never eat here again

Ive found myself craving Korean soup from this restaurant quite often. I get their beef stew Yukgaejang level 4 spicy and it is amazing. The stew is slow simmered with home made tofu, mushrooms, scallions, and other veggies. Served with rice or noodles. It is enough for 2 people. They serve 6 starters with your meal. Fish cakes, seaweed, sprouts, turnips, kimchi and pickled cucumber. The chicken version is good too. Kimchi pancakes are greasy but taste great. Great value for money and a very friendly staff.

Excellent service towards specific dietary preferences. We were ordering a vegan dish for someone and asked if the dish we ordered had any fish oil/flavoring or if it had any bonito flakes and she confirmed that it didnt. When she gave us the side dishes, she told us which ones were vegan and which ones were not. Very patient, helpful and knowledgeable service.

This restaurant has a great view and is a clean environment. The tofu soup itself okay but not exceptional. I went here a few times and the quality of the food seems to have declined since it first opened. They do provide rapid refills of side dishes, which is great. I would also say that service is just okay.

Better ambiance than your average Korean restaurant. Large portions and they refill the side dishes really fast. The river views are nice and relaxing.
