Where do I begin? First of all... the employees were unattentive, loud, unprofessional, rude and extremely unhelpful. We felt like we were in a high school with a bunch of delinquents serving us, with the way things were being handled. Our order was brought out to us, one lousy burger on a obviously dirty plate and my friend received theirs in a to go box, which he had a hard time eating out of. All because they "didnt have any clean dishes". Then I asked if they had utensils and he said he would get some. After a few minutes I see him talking and laughing with the chef and girls at the cash register, completely forgetting what he was doing! So I went up and look for the forks and knives myself... there were none! I asked the same guy if they have ANY utensils and he says "let me check in the back." He returns and says "no, all of them are dirty". This isnt even the worst part of it! If I could only upload a picture of what these kids served us, Im sure corporate would be completely embarrased. The way we were served and handled made McDonalds look like 5 star restaurant. I would NEVER...EVER suggest this place to anyone. This occurred on May 18th 2016 at 6:00pm.

This review is more around the company itself, and not this specific location. Imagine that a McDonalds and a Red Robin got together and had a baby. Overpriced food of which you have to pay an extra $2 just to have a small side of meaningless fries. The food does get brought to you, like DQ style. The unfortunate part is that this place calls itself a burger place, yet you cant even say how you want your burger cooked. The mean may be good, but its extremely thin and gives the burgers no justice. This location deserves more since the staff was great, but the company needs to change some things to keep people coming for more. I for one will never voluntarily go to any smashburger again.

Friday night I agree its rush time, but it doesnt mean you have to serve a bad order. They gave me a salty salt fries. When I complained about the order, waitress simply mentioned that the have new cook/chef. I requested to replace the order with normal fries. They said they cant do it as I already touched the fries. I literally separated the French fries and took this picture. Either change your chef or serve better food. A very low quality and ride staff. I will never visit this place, the are better smash burger places in NJ

A little overpriced for what you get, especially when you have places like Brothers right down the street. The fries are thin and nothing to brag about, the burgers are often very greasy and a bit flimsy, though theyll fill you up and taste pretty decent. However, the food here is expensive, not that quickly prepared if fast food is what youre in for, and tastes worse than the other sit-down restaurants in the area. The milkshakes are a pretty good value, but not something Id go explicitly here for.

Used to be my favorite place to eat out. For quick delicious food. Poor management is to blame for my last lousy experience. Under staffed and rude employees. Table left un cleaned for the duration of my stay. After 25 minute wait finally my order was ready. We decided to change and take it to go. Food prep guys steps up to me " yeah this is the order what is the problem" ... food wasnt as good as before served with a side of bad attitude topped of with disaster amosphere. Never going back.

I was impressed. The Classic was reminiscent of an In-and-Out burger (Animal style). Really tasty and the "big" size did not disappoint. Great strawberry shake to go with it definitely hit the spot. Also got the "Smash" fries. My take: good idea with the rosemary, but they were a bit greasy and too skinny for my taste. Anyway, 2 out of 3 aint bad. A little on the pricey side, but probably worth it. Well definitely go back!

The food was good - milkshake even better. Reason for 3 stars is because I went back there on a Saturday evening about a week ago, and there was a solid 12 minutes before they closed and all staff was inside cleaning and the door locked. If you close at 10, then the door should be open and the kitchen open until that time. Otherwise dont advertise that you are open until 10! Very frustrating

Went there when it just opened and was very disappointed. The food was below average and very expensive. Over $30 for two adults and a 5 year old for dinner, with a free entree coupon. If the burger was good I wouldnt have minded so much, but it was dry and over cooked. Wish they put a five guys there instead.

No line at 5:20 on a Sunday making it really fast from order to table. Food was really good. Only complaint is the chair I tried to sit on had dried soda on it. When I mentioned this to the young person who brought our food she apologized but never came back to clean the chair just to check on us.

Ordered online I get to the store before they received the order, Im not kidding you. Killed my entire lunch break waiting for my food, really not much better than Burger King, and a whole lot slower,Ill wave as I go by from now on, I not even going to talk about the prices!!

Really terrible service, waited 30 minutes for a milkshake while the employees were messing around behind the counter. Burger was okay, but definitely not worth the very expensive price. There are nearby places that are way better for nearly half the cost.

Of the recent burger chains that have popped up, I think Smash Burgers my least favorite. their burgers are good, but I dont think they are extraordinary in any way, especially for how much you pay for them.

Horrible food and terrible service. I would give it 0 star. I ordered a classic crispy chicken burger and smash fries for pickup. The chicken and fries were completely burnt and not edible.
