I used to love this place. Went tonight, took almost 20 minutes before anyone came to the table. Ordered the calamari which is usually great, there was very small portion, had no flavor. It had some spice, we had to request more water after trying to get staffs attention for five minutes. For dinner I ordered the Martinis Crazy Chicken it was purple with overcooked dry chicken I chocked on, small amount of angel hair. Looked like purple ramen that I could make at home. My bfs pizza was overcooked, so hot it burnt his mouth, the cheese must have been sitting under a lamp forever. The staff has changed to young people who look like they are shopping at the mall. I do not know what happened Cafe Metro!!

Cafe Metro has a healthy menu and feels like it was transplanted from a city with its hip artsy vibe. This is one of those restaurants where you pick one or two favorite dishes but never deviate from those choices. They offer macrobiotic fare and asian inspired stir fry but I dont really enjoy that so I tried it once and opted instead for the seafood specials and pasta dishes. The food is fresh and I like the variety of veggies in their salads. Their tahini dressing is yum. My friends really like the pizzas. I have found the staff to be very accommodating and pleasant...allowing substitutions and answering questions. Desserts are great.

Delicious BYOB restaurant off the main street in the center of Denville. Many vegetarian options available. Their service has gotten a lot faster over the last year or so. They are great for lunch or dinner. Usually very quiet, great to catch up with friends and family. Love sitting out on the front porch during the spring and summer months.

I have had several events here.... My brothers going away party, my sisters baby shower, romantic dinners with my husband, ladies night with my friends...this is my go-to place for healthy, friendly, delicious food. They are so accommodating and helped do both of these events within our budget and customized it to or needs.

Weve been going to this restaurant for years. The food is fresh, healthy, beautifully prepared, delicious, reasonably priced, and professionally served. The atmosphere is cheerful and one is never rushed. We became fans because the diverse menu includes many vegetarian choices, which appealed to my two boys.

Good food. Dont have to be a vegan to enjoy. Nice atmosphere and seating outside. It is a BYOB or you can buy a bottle on site. Only downfall to this place is the extremely poor service . Dont bother going unless you have at least an1-1/2 hrs to sit at the table and this is for only two people.

I dont know how anyone could rate this place with less than 5 stars! Ive been coming here for ten years or more and every meal is delicious, the food is consistent, the staff is pleasant as well, plus its BYOB, a very enjoyable experience! Love this place!

This place is amazing! I order the pizza with vegan cheese and it was absolutely delicious! I also ordered the vegan carrot cake and it was sooooo good! Super cozy spot, friendly staff, and lots of healthy options. I will be eating here again!

I love the food, I love the location, but the name Cafe Metro turned me off to it for a while. Youre not in the city, so dont pretend to be :) Anyways, this is one of the best places in Denville to eat, definitely worth going to!

Went here for lunch this afternoon. Staff was great, food was excellent. I ordered a sandwich from the specials, one of the best sandwiches Ive ever eaten. Ill definitely be going back to this place.
