Usually Google reviews dont let me down but Im not sure how this place earned its stars. Pricey main entrees with even pricier specials. Tonight the pasta special was $29 for chicken with gnocchi. Yep, chicken and dumplings. The salad and soup that we received were adequate and the bread was delicious. The issue came when our entrees arrived. My husband got the linguini with clams. The pasta was cooked properly but the red sauce was more a watery butter sauce with a couple of tomatoes tossed in. My tuna was overcooked and the sweet and sour onions were so strong that nothing else could be tasted. Additionally, even though braised fennel was specifically listed in the menu, there was none to be found on the plate. In its place, 3 spears of asparagus and a handful of overcooked, roasted slices of potato. Our server never once came to check how our meal was. When I was finally able to flag a server about the missing fennel, his response was "To go" so I dont believe he understood me. I didnt bother asking again. Our server didnt seem all that surprised that we had over half of our meals boxed before he had even stopped by, and asked if wed like dessert. Both of us with a stomach ache by this point, declined. We promptly paid our check and left and will never return.

This is the slightly upscale version of the other fantastic Italian restaurant in the area, La Piazza in Allentown. Have eaten here many times and Ive never had a bad meal. You must try the Calamari Mondello appetizer. It is beyond delicious, and the portion is very large (1 order for 2 people is more than enough). The main courses are all great. My particular favorite is Pork Chop Giambottio. I always promise myself that Im going to get something different, but more often than not its what I order. There is no liquor license so its byob, which most people do. Dress is casual, but the dining room is somewhat elegant and cozy. The wait staff is top shelf and the owners and managers are always there to make sure you are satisfied with all aspects of your dining experience. Cant recommend this place enough. If you are in the area try it....if you live here, you should be a regular.

Excellent food, atmosphere, and staff. This is our go to restaurant, its a BYOB so the price is not crazy. We really liked this restaurant and decided to have my wifes 40 birthday party there (ah hem, 4 yrs ago, sorry honey)and were hooked. I worked with one of the owners, Manny and now every time we go there Manny comes out to say hello to me and my family. My wife has dietary restrictions and they always work with us to come up with awesome substitutions. We have not had a bad meal from this place, try one of their specials or off the menu Salmon De Jennifer and Calamari Modelo is off the hook (pun intended). I hope I am spelling those meals right. Keep up the good work, hope to be back soon.

The pizza, pasta dishes, and soup that Ive tried has all been great! I especially liked the penne in vodka sauce and the potato soup that I had last time. The calamari that we got was chewy and needed to be sent back, Id avoid ordering that. The canolis were good, but could be better - I tasted no or very little mascarpone and too much powdered sugar. The paninis could also use a little improvement, Ive tried two. The ambiance is very nice, the service is great, but some of the menu items definitely need a little work. Go with pizza, pasta, or soup, and youll be happy! :-)

Nothing impressive here. If you have any cooking knowledge, have traveled beyond a 50 mile radius from home, or are familiar with fresh, quality Italian food, you will not be moved. The seafood bisque was indistinguishable from a gelatinous canned soup - up charge not worth it - the pasta drenched in olive oil, the broccoli rabe cooked into rubbery knots, and the seasoning too salty. I couldnt risk the dessert. The aesthetic was unwarranted upscale, with lackluster service. Ive felt better after eating Burger King, sadly. Dont waste your time or money.

Worst New Years experience Ive ever had in my life. We made a reservation a week ahead of time for a party of 4. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation to be told it was an hour wait. Speaking with other people in the line we found out that they were experiencing the same thing. Really simple dont take a reservation if you cant hold the spot. Terrible management and completely ruined our New Years. I used to love coming here when I was visiting family but I will never go here ever again.

Arguably the best Italian food I have ever had. The portions and presentations are beautiful. I almost always have food left over to take home. The chef will literally create anything you desire made to order. The service is incredible and the ambiance is great! My favorite dish is the Rigatoni Vodka with grilled chicken. For dessert I suggest the Chocolate Tartufo.

Finally stopped in for dinner with a party of 8. Wish I did sooner. Not only was the food ( from appetizers to dessert ) fantastic but the wait staff was just as as amazing ! They accommodated for all we asked with a smile. We all left planning our next visit. My mom said it was the best scallops and polenta shes had. And that says it all. Great job Ninnuz !!!

Gave this place a few tries and they blew it each time both eat in and take out. They either forget parts of the meal or dont prepare it to your specifications. And the food is really not that great, certainly not worth the price which is up there. Shame, I live right down the street and really wanted to like this place.

Worst experience ever at this restaurant made reservations 2 weeks prior for a party of 16 show up with two separate tables. Spent 30 minutes tryING to gets extra tables to accommodate us. The manager was rude and not help full at all. I had better Italian food at olive garden. Never again going to this place..

Nice find !! Was driving by and stopped on a whim. Lets face it , "Italian restaurants" are a dime a dozen . Italian restaurants that are serving delicious, quality food are not ! This isnt a boxed pasta with a basic red sauce . I ordered the Arrancini , and Pasta Genovese , both were awesome !
