Food was excellent, but we received very poor service. We had to wait a long time for someone to take our order. It then took 10 minutes to bring water and 1 fountain drink. Waiter said hell be right back with the other 2 fountain drinks, but we never saw him again. When another waiter brought our food about 10 minutes after that, we told him we never got the rest of our drinks. We were eventually told that we could no longer get the fountain drinks as their machine is now broken.

I ate here for the first time last evening can say its now the best Italian meal Ive had in a long time in central New Jersey. The menu is nice and and the food itself has a real homeade flavor. I ordered the Sunday Gravy with Penne which was both amazing and very generous in size. Everyone in our dinner party of 9 was blown away. Id be surprised if Lola doesnt start having long lines outside the front door many nights a week.

Went there today. My fish was very good and pasta was OK; not made in Italy but still decent. The biggest minus was the size of portions. One portion at this place could easily feed three people! I dont like taking food home because, as we all know, the restaurant food never tastes good on the second or third day. I would rather prefer eating an appropriately sized portion at the restaurant rather than taking home all this food.

The food / service was good. I thought the portions were too small for the price being charged. Dinner ran $175 (before tip) for 4 people w/o drinks. (BYOB). The service was great. I hope they do well as there are not a lot of really good restaurants in the area, Just felt they are overpriced for what we got. Aside from that we had a nice evening there.

If you remember when Carmines on 43rd in Manhattan was unquestionably the best Italian restaurant, then come to Lolas superior quality , superior service .The owner greets you by your first name ,escort you to your favorite table and tempts you with dishes that makes your mouth water . I give Lolas my highest rating a 5 Sapphire !

Great food & excellent service. A bit pricey but you do get what you pay for. ..preparation is superb and portions are extremely generous. Preferred eating outside rather than indoor dining which could use improved ambience & sound proofing. Would return.

Wonderful food and great service. This place is a little hard to find, its at the back of a strip mall, but its worth looking for. Its BYOB and the prices are fair. Give it a try, its worth it.

Love Lolas! I work at the Hightstown Enterprise and the guys and I always order lunch from here. Food is always delicious and arrives quick! We love the vodka rig with grilled chicken.
