First time at Red Hot & Blue tonight.. Was very nervous since I heard there was a live band tonight. I wanted to have a nice dinner not have a loud environment. My husband and I are from Tennessee and this was the BEST BBQ we have had within 100 miles from here. The waitress gave us the perfect amount of attention, the large drinks were exceptional because after the food was there and the waitress checked on us the first time there was no need for her to come back and bother us we had everything we needed, and for one I do not want to be bothered when my face and hands are full of ribs... the Cheesey bacon cheese fries were AMAZING and my husband LOVED his 5 Meat Treat where he got to try all the meatson the menu.. between myself and my husband we are very very tough critics.. we enjoyed this place so much!! We even enjoyed the live acoustic band that was there... the fact that it was a little loud didnt even matter bc the food was that good. Cant wait to go back!

we stop here often on the way back from Philly and we love the place! my wife is from down south and we take her mother with us a lot and they both enjoy the "southern" style menu, with hush puppies, catfish, bbq, etc. The sandwich / ribs combo is my new favorite. they also have good beer on tap, including the house pale ale, brewed by flying fish! the service can be a little slow, but whats the rush, it aint fast food. The decor is cool with guitars, etc on the walls, and they play continuous Blues music which lends an authentic touch to the atmosphere.

Im from Texas and decided to stop to eat at this place on the advice of a friend. I had their "award winning" ribs. They were over seasoned, it was all I could taste. When you claim you have "award winning" ribs the meat should be the star it shouldnt be drowned in sauce or seasoning. The service was what Id expect from a bbq restaurant in New Jersey, back home the best bbq restaurants make you feel like family. I will remain friends with the person who referred to this McDonalds of bbq, but I will not be trusting any other recommendations from him.

A holiday ham tastes better. Do not be tricked by the appetizers which surprinsingly enough are quite good specially the wings (dry). Ordered a slab of wet ribs, the meat was tough, pink and unlike its description, dry as an upside down bucket. My girlfriend ordered the pull pork sandwhich and after invane efforts to revive the the meat that was put on our table with five different homemade sauses, dinner was a failure. On the way out we kept staring at the smiling guitar playing pair of piggles as they chuckle at our unpleasant dinner experience.

We really wanted this place to work... But it didnt. If you are from any state that does bbq, unfortunately this wont cut it. There werent even smoke rings on the meat and it wasnt tender. This is NJ style bbq not southern style or Memphis style. If you want real bbq drive 18 miles across the river, buy a plane ticket and fly to Kansas City or Texas. I think the smoke smell here may be for ambience and not actual smoking of meat. The sauces were decent though but that is probably to tirn oven roasted beef into "bbq."

Got a full rib platter, ribs were smaller than the 1/4 platter that my son got, but worse, they tasted horrible and burnt. Thought it was also unprofessional for the manager to order Chinese food from another restaurant outloud on the phone in front of all present customers. Should that have been a warning that you wont even eat your own food? Oh, and for an alleged "blues music BBQ" joint, never heard one blues song on the speakers the whole time.

I visited the Williamsburg location and while the bartender was quite friendly, the food and atmosphere is abysmal. The ribs (a specialty) were so fatty they were inedible. When asked why I did not finish my plate, I did inform the bartender of how bad the food was. She did apologize and took $5 off the bill which was very nice. Save your taste buds and time and skip this place. Atmosphere is almost as bad as the food....

The waitress was non-existant. She brought us out ice cold food that was nothing but fat. We sent it back - it came out cold again and tough as nails. We waited 1/2 hour to get our check and finally figured out how much our bill would have came to and left it on the table. Only the bartender was around and when we tried to tell him - he could care less. We contacted the corporate office and they didnt care either.

like barbecue? this is cherry hills go-to spot for platters of a number of varieties of ribs, chicken and such morsels.located in a upscale holiday inn, the bar has its regulars that spend hours talking about the old days when the garden state racetrack was located next door. many of the regulars are still avid horsemen or bookies? excellent food and suitably for a first date if you get lucky.

I use to come here all of the time. It was a great place to go to to get a great pulled pork sandwich or ribs as you listen to some great local blues band. Now it is no longer the same. The food and the atmosphere have lost their flavor. Sad to see a fine establishment go downhill.

Ribbs were moist. But had no flavor except for added bbq sauce. If i loved to eat pork without flavor.I would be fine. Should marinate ribs in sauce to permiate the meats flavor. Or I could put bbq sause on my finger and lick it off. Or just drink the sauce alone.

Very big portions at very fair price, food was above what was expected for a last minute nj BBQ place. I would suggest the dry rub ribs, excellent. If you are at a near by convention, this is the place to go. Bartender was also very attentive and personable

Place use to be good, My favorite was the chicken nachcos, loved the flour tortillias, and the shredded cheese, went there recently, oh what a difference 20 years makes, crappy Nacho chips, processed cheese, a total disappointment. I will not be going back!

Great Food and Great Entertainment I have been going to this location for over 15 years and I have never been dissatisfied. Being a cooker myself I understand how hard it is to make everyone happy.

Great barbecue place. Sausages were top notch. The green sauce is the best. Red sauce is spicy but vinegary. Wings were good, but the pulled chicken was dry.Chilli was watery for my tastes.

This place is pricey for what they offer. I got their bbq ribs and they were just average. Their bbq chicken wings were actually pretty and they were my favorite out of everything I ordered.

I dont know if this is what they call BBQ in New Jersey but this is horrible. First time Ive ever had beef brisket with no smoke rings and I had to use a knife to saw through this garbage.
