From a family of business owners, its pretty clear to understand that this place cheats out on paying taxes and showing a profit each year by accepting only cash. The percentage of people with cash only as a payment method in 2017 is pretty low. Rude customer service and poor English. Hope the owner is sitting happy somewhere. I would rather give our "cash" to another ice cream joint.

This is not your typical summer ice cream joint. The European staff couldnt be more helpful! The ice cream is home made and this owner operated business is a refreshing change from big corporate ice! Uncle Charleys has been a cornerstone of Cape Mays summer community for over 12 years and is a great place to meet up with friends!

Great place!!! Prime location, delicious homemade ice cream. Huge scoops. They have it all, sundaes floats, ice cream sodas, water ice, you name it. Over 50 flavors of ice cream. Service is very fast and friendly. Cash only- ATM outside the shop. This is a local alternative to Ben & Jerys and DQ.

They advertised 48 flavors and only had 6 available. They are very rude to there customers as well . The ice cream its self was good but the come was stale. When people asked for a receipt they dont give them. Overall it wasnt a good experience

Uncle Charleys is the only ice cream parlor that my family goes to in Cape May. Not only is the ice cream homemade & delicious, the staff is always super friendly which makes it such an enjoyable treat every time!

Our fav ice cream parlor! In the square and consistent with the vintage atmosphere, this lil shop serves the best ice cream ever. Why go to the chain when you can get great quality and fast service here?!
