Spent a week in Cape May and its a blessing from GOD! that we found this place. After our horrible experiences at all the other restaurants we were ready to give up on this whole town and its crap-tastic food. The first night we went there we got 2 rolls, 1 thai entree, and one chinese entree. We spent more than we would have liked but what do you expect other than high prices in a resort town. The food was so good that we skipped our reservation at the blue pig tavern and ordered a couple rolls for takeout and sat on sunset beach and scarfed them down. This would have to be the second best sushi ive ever had and ive gone to quite a few sushi restaurants. Also, the lady who helped us both times was incredibly nice.. but so was everyone down here. Were not used to that at all. People wave hello to you with their middle fingers where we come from. GO EAT THEIR SUSHI!

My wife and I went there for lunch. The food was just ok, nothing to write home about. When the bill arrived there was a charge for $6.75. I asked what the charge was for they said my soda! I had a little 6 oz glass that was filled with ice. So maybe there was 3 oz of soda per glass. They refilled or twice and asked me at the end of the meal if I wanted another which luckily I declined. Well to my surprise they dont have free refills! $2.25 per tiny ice filed glass. So I got less than one can of soda for $6.75. What a deal! They never mentioned that they dont have free refills. After complaining they took off 1 refill. Not a good way to do business. I will never be back.

Best Chinese (ask for authentic!) in this area. Also very good sushi & thai. You can get the usual fare of what a American/Chinese restaurant would have but it is definitely of a better quality and authenticity. Had grilled yellowtail collars on special last night - thats unique, foremost Asian restaurants in our area and they were absolutely delicious. Their pork dumplings are made two order and very tender delicious and flavorful. A go to place for this local family:)

First time we went to this place food was great. This time I order a take out. Few rolls of sushi. This time sushi wasnt that good spicailly for the price that they charge. Finally highlight of our dinner was a sharp piece of white plastic. Owner did offer me an extra dragon roll to replace an old one but i am not driving back for one roll. In fact Iam avaiding this place from now on.I took a pics of that discovery inside the sushi roll. I wish i could of posted it here.

Went there around 5. Not crowded, waitress, she was polite, friendly, excellent service. Nothing like the the first owner..What we didnt like was they put red onions in both dishes, chow mein.. was swimming in water. Good shrimp. My Lo-main, to much soy sauce. But good size portion and good amount of meat. If you want fortune cookies u now pay extra. Oh, they charge for each small glass of soda, no refill. $2.25 for an orange juice size glass Not going back again

Was not impressed and I felt it was over priced too. Ordered beef negimaki and it tasted funny. It was also made with spinach and not asparagus. For 3 people we only ordered a few appetizers. Which the waiter felt the need to point out we were only ordering "snacks". It cost $35, and no beverages. The water he gave us was luke warm tap water with no ice. The atmosphere was nice but we will not be back.

My favorite Chinese/Asian restaurant in Cape May County. The vegetarian curry ravioli appetizer is amazing and Im not even a vegetarian. The red curry chicken dinner is also super delicious. I order these two dishes every time I go. Always delicious. Also, the lunch menu is a bit less expensive if you want to try out some of the food before you go full on dinner night out with the entire family.

We read the menu online and thought they had Thai food. They dont really have Thai food. Not much of a selection. I ordered the pineapple rice. It was just white rice mixed with frozen veggies and canned pineapple tidbits with no sauce. I was disappointed. Not worth the price! The atmosphere was okay. The service could have been better. My friend liked her udon in brown sauce.

Great food! I rarely leave reviews but this place has quality dishes served fresh. This is not a typical take out place its a few notches above. Wonton soup was made from scatch with thin wontons. Gen Taos Chicken was awesome! Great friendly service too! We are up visiting from NC wish they had a place like this down there.

I work on Cape May every couple of months. It is tough to find a good place to eat. Most places charge double $$$ for crappy food. Cape Orient is a great place. Food is great and I am usually not a fan of Asian food except for sushi. We tried Orange chicken, mei fun and chicken broccoli and everything was fantastic.

I eat sushi all the time, so its nice to have sushi so close. Their food is definitely above average, but nothing crazy. Their atmosphere is charming, and the staff is very helpful. If you want to order out, they are always very quick with getting everything ready.

No alcohol served (dont even think its BYOB) and there was one waiter for the whole restaurant. It was not busy at all, but he never asked if we even wanted anything but water. Food took very long to serve (and we mostly all had sushi..like cucumber rolls).

Sushi was excellent. The staff was very friendly and prompt. This is a byob establishment which was great for us. The presentation of the food was great as was the atmosphere. Definitely stop in here if you enjoy sushi and youre in Cape May.

Its a great place to go on a date. The atmosphere is unique in a refreshingly retro zen way. The staff are very attentive, and the food is spot on. Portion sizes are fair, and they can even tailor their dishes to make them vegan friendly.

I had not realized this place existed, then we went to try it out and let me tell you the atmosphere is on the elegant side, and the food was great. Now we take out a lot from here and have never been dissapointed. Enjoy!

Under new management, this Cape May gem is tucked away in a strip mall. For the area you really cant beat the prices. Entrees run $15 ballpark at dinner time. The food is solidly good, but nothing amazing.

This was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I rarely review restaurants but felt compelled to because the food was so bad. I never knew that Chinease food could be made tasteless.
