We ate here last week and regretted our decision to step foot in this place! Ive never met Mexican food I didnt-like- yet literally everything about this place was awful. Fajitas were extremely bitter tasting (I now see others on here have complained of the same bitterness) to the point where they were inedible. I am in the serving industry and have a lot of understanding for waitstaff- but our waiters treatment of us was just inexcusable. From the beginning he acted like we were bothering him (we were the only table seated in the entire restaurant at the time) He dropped the food and never once checked on us- as we sat there with empty drinks and full plates we couldnt eat. We tried to grab his attention only for him to disappear around us. The room did gradually get busier but we were entirely ignored when there was obviously a problem with our food. Eventually he comes and throws the check on the table- noticeably absent was the "How was your meal? Or "can I get you anything else" (refill your empty drinks/offer desert etc) I told him politely that the food must have gone bad because its taste was awful- hence our full uneaten plates. He shrugged his shoulders and said "well this is authentic Mexican". I told him that we regularly eat authentic Mexican and this food was to put it simply- awful. Again he shrugged his shoulders and said "other people like it so I dont know what to tell you." And walked away. Not quite sure how they stay in business with food and customer service as terrible as that.

Was very disappointed with the quality of food and the lack of service. The salsa served with the chips was not very good and the tacos were bland. The burrito had large tomato pieces that shouldve been cut up. While it was a shrimp and scallops burrito there was also randomly ground beef in there. Our server dropped off or meal didnt ask is we needed anything and before I could say anything was gone. She never came back to our table. Then I heard the other server tell her in Spanish that it looked like we were done. Otherwise she likely would have never come back. Because of this I never even got to order my soda. We came here because other reviews made it sound so good but dont waste your time and money.

We visited the day before Easter Sunday. The food was decent, everything else was terrible. We visited between lunch and dinner so maybe some delay in service was acceptable, as there was only one waiter at that time. What was not acceptable was the waiter continued to serve every single guest that came after us, but repeatedly ignored our basic requests, spoke over us, talked back rudely. We were served water after every other guest was served water plus food, despite their arriving well after we had and our several indications to the waiter that we were ready to order food / waiting for water that we had requested. The behavior was outright discriminatory, unforgivable.

our family decided to head up to cape may and check this restaurant out because it was rated 4.5 stars and was said it was really good. The fajitas were good though! The enchiladas de mole was absolutely terrible! (I guess you might like it if youre really into extremely bitter food) but this Was incredibly bitter! I looked up how it should taste and it said: sweet and slightly bitter. Though what I was served was incredibly bitter with a major burnt taste. Our friend ordered the burrito and said it was not that great because it was over flown with chicken and no other flavor. I do not recommend! And totally not worth the money it was!

Terrible restaurant. There were bad signs before we even walked in. The door was sticky. The table was sticky. The utensils didnt really seem clean. Then came the chips and salsa. It was pretty good, until we found hair in the salsa. We still didnt take all the warnings and decided to order. After about 40 minutes, our food arrives. The enchilada was extremely bitter. The chicken was cold and tough. Nothing tasted good. Even though we were all hungry, we couldnt even finish what we ordered because it was just so bad. We ended up leaving this awful place and eating at Wawa. Avoid this place!!

Went last night with friends. Weve all been wanting to try it out since it opened. Food was great!!! The Nachos Grande that we started off with was very good and we all tried something different for our entrees, which we all loved.. Saved some room for deserts which were also very good, the Fried Ice Cream the Fried Cheese Cake! Cant wait to go back and would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys authentic Mexican food. Almost forgot to mention . . . . incredible value, especially in Cape May!!!!

Service was fine, nothing over the top yet not under serving. The surprise comes when you get the bill. Bring your own milk for your children or else get ready to pay $3 for a cup of milk with ice in it. Even harder to believe is that you get charged $2 extra for chips without being told prior to asking for them that there is an up charge. Borderline deceptive business practice. Would NEVER have a good word for them.

We loved it here. The combination platter was wonderful, with fresh-roasted chicken and perfectly balanced toppings. I liked the unique peppery rice and beans flavors. The guacamole was fresh and had a great texture. And the service was fabulous. My Mom said it was the best chimichanga shes had since living in Arizona. Great experience overall.

Excellent food. From the authentic flavorful home made delicious chip and salsas to the entrees. I especially reccomend the large combo platter with a wonderful variety of tasty specials. Great guacamole, tostadas, mole, enchiladas verdes. The tacos carnitas ( roast pork) is fabulous. Really tasty inexpensive food.

ispanis Paella $23.95 Yellow rice cooked with scallops, shrimp, mussels, clams, italian sauce, grilled chicken, green peppers and onions. See above menu typo. Sauce=sausage. I picked it all out as I dont care for it. Seafood quantities were minimal. No offer of exchange.or $. Fahitas burrito was the winner.

This place was horrible we had to wait 15 min to or s table when there was only 2 other costumers. To top it off the cook and the waitress got in a flight right in front of us then the waitress left upset. We never got our drinks and when we left had to leave them money for there chips and salsa. Never again.

Really , really good food. Everyone loved it , my sun tried something new and the waitress asked him has he had it before because its different. He loved it anyway, but very thoughtful of the waitress to check. We are from NYC we have a lot of Mexicans to choose from and this was awesome.

Worst Mexican restaurant Ive ever been to. The enchiladas and fajitas were extremely bitter. Awful service. It took 40 min for the server to give us our check. And she never came back to refill our glass even when we asked her to. For the price we payed, it was a really bad experience.

Excellent, fresh, homemade Mexican food with no gimmicks! They are open year-round. Their kids menu also has typical kids options like ravioli and chicken fingers. Service is excellent, restaurant and restrooms are clean, and the atmosphere is great. We love this place!
