Well after my second time here, Id have to say its a real hit & miss situation. The first time, the wonderful family dinner we got gave me the impression that Lake Pavilion had become a contender for the best Cantonese restaurants in Flushing purely in terms food quality, since Flushing. On the second visit though, we had to deal with waiters who simply did not know what the **** they were doing. The variable between the two visits? Newbie inexperienced waiters being overwhelmed by the crowds. In the end, its the food that matters, and Lake Pavilion gets a 4/5 from me. Until the restaurant hits its one year anniversary, Id really advise you to do a 180 and head to Grand Restaurant or Asian Jewel if you see a big crowd here.

I normally order Indian food from a place on Bell Blvd where the people are lovely, but we came across this little place in Flushing and decided to give it a try. We ordered the butter chicken and chicken tikka and they were both absolutely delicious! The rice was perfectly prepared and the dishes had just the right amount of zip. Dont be discouraged by the unassuming exterior of Punjabi. What is going on inside is what matters. We have tried many Indian restaurants in the past and this was by far one of the best meals we have ever had. I highly recommend it and cant wait to go back

How do they have 634 reviews on seamless giving them more than a 1 star? Chicken biryani was bland, spiceless with overcooked rice. The veggies seem to be just that frozen pea, bean mix + fresh onions. Chicken curry was just chicken in pepper water (no veggies, other spices, salt, texture). Chicken appetizer was dry like it was microwaved and bland. Ive never had such a terrible samosa - the minced meat was like shredded cardboard. Howd they mess up a fried comfort food? Even the naan sucked - dry and tough. Garbage.

We usually order food from them 3-4 times a week. The delivery guy never comes to my appartment and always wants us to go downstairs to pick up the delivery. Due to some reason I was not able to do so this time, when I asked him to deliver the order to my apartment he said he wont come upstairs and that if I have any issue I should cancel the order. He was very rude and didnt know how to speak at all. When I called the restaurant they were rude as well. I will never order from them again.

I had absolutely zero expectations from what appeared to be mostly an Indian restaurant that also happened to serve pizza and cheeseburgers. I needed my Indian food fix, and in desperation I ordered take out. Delicious, delicious, delicious! I am completely taken by surprise. If you have a crave, and are looking for some good Indian takeout in the area, then this is your place.

Just ordered their food from Seamless. Absolutely the WORST Indian food I have ever tasted. Everything we ordered was SO bland and needs more seasoning. The curry tasted like spicey water and chicken (no veggies). Definitely not work 11.00 ea. LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR INDIAN FOOD. THIS PLACE IS EXPENSIVE AND THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE.
