My family and I come to Atlantic City on 4 Mondays a year. We typically alternate between LandShark and Margaritaville. The last couple times at LandShark the service appears to be going down as does the food. But the visit we just had on Monday the 19th was the worst. We arrived at 4 oclock with a party of 5. The hostess greeted us and asked how many in party and where we would like to be seated. We told her outside and the hostess gave menus to another young lady and said to follow her. This young lady preceded to take us into the restaurant and again asked where we wished to be seated. We again stated outside and she then walked us out to a table with 3 chairs. We informed her it was a party of 5 and she looked confused but finally escorted us over to another area and put 2 tables together. About 10 minutes later a waiter came out to take our drink orders and if we would like any appetizers. Two waters,one coke and two unsweet teas were ordered. The waiter then went to get drinks and put appetizer orders in. He returned with two waters and coke and stated they were brewing more unsweet ice tea and left. When he returned with the appetizers he stated the cooks were too busy to brew any tea so he brought out two sweet teas. Now the problem with this is he ASSumed my wife and mother-in-law would accept this not taking a minute to think there was a reason for what they ordered. They are both diabetic and only drink unsweet tea. He preceded to take our orders and left. My daughter had ordered bacon cheddar fries and they were horrible. Fries were overcooked,barely and bacon or cheese. So she decided to just go back to the casino. When the waiter brought out our entrees he only brought out 3 orders and said my brother-in-laws would be right out. I would say 10-15 minutes later the waiter brought out his food. Now a quick note but during all this the other servers were moving tables around preparing for a big party which I guess is why the cooks were to busy to make unsweet ice tea. When we were done the waiter gave us our 2 checks and low and behold the 2 unsweet teas were on the bill. We called over a manager and explained about the tea and that we would not pay for them and he did take them off. We also told him about my daughters entree and he simply said we should have sent it back and nothing more.No discount on the bills or anything. My wife and I left a dollar for a tip and my in-laws left two dollars. Funny thing was the waiter did not take the tip. He brought it back in his little black book and threw them on the table.Now before anyone says we were just being picky I assure you all of us have either worked or working now in the restaurant business. It is obvious you all were more worried about this party of like 130 people coming in then you were about the other patrons. Maybe next time you should just close the restaurant down an hour or two before the huge party comes in because the funny thing is this all happened within like an hour an a half if that. I forgot one more thing. When the waiter asked about our drinks my brother-in-law asked if they had orange crush or any other type of crush drinks. Waiter looked confused and said no they didnt.

We are staying again at Resorts AC. We have been to Resorts and Landshark about ten times before in the last 3 or 4 years. It was a nice experience before but I think this restaurant has now jumped the shark. Waiter shows up at table and says they are in between shifts and a new waiter will be over in a few minutes. He takes our order for drinks for the kids, my wife and myself. He comes back in a few minutes with kids drinks and then says new waiter will be over soon but will take our appetizer order. We have already been there for about 20 min so we said we would put our order in with the appetizer. He disappears for another 10 min or so then says our appetizer will be right out and we say we never got our bar drinks. Now this was a Wednesday at 4:00 and the restaurant was quite empty. He finally comes back with my drink on the rocks and wifes frozen drink was all melted. Must have been forgotten at bar for a while. The wife refused the melted frozen drink and the waiter takes it back for replacement. He comes back with another melted drink, obviously the same one she just sent back, but then dumped drink all over my wifes leg and dress side. He did not apologize. Just said was getting napkins and threw them on table. Our dinners came out by other staff snd her Ceaser salad came old and soggy but no dressing was on salad. Her fish sandwich looked like an over cooked piece of fish from the grill. Wifes food was returned. We finally got new waiter and told him the meal was not acceptable and asked for management, but no one came. We ate our meal as wife sat with wet dress. The waiter asked if we needed anything else and wife said again she wanted a manager. Manager came over and apologized for issues...after the fact and after we paid. She just offered a replacement drink for my wife. Ridiculous. We were all done eating and ready to leave. Where was management before when she asked? I would give negative stars if I could. This is my third visit to the Landshark. Ive been coming back because I liked it. The food was good, service was so so but I liked the location and sitting out on the beach. I was there last night and I dont think I will be going back. They were taking names down for seating. We gave them a name and number to text when the table was available. I saw them write it down. We waited past the twenty minutes they said it would take and went back to ask. They had no record of our reservation! No idea about why. So we waited another five minutes and they put us outside. The waitress was slow and not friendly. Another server brought the food out to us and got the plates mixed up so I just said oh its the other way around and she snapped something like well you didnt tell me how am I supposed to know. Very rude. Our waitress never came back again to see if we needed drink refills. Which I wouldnt have as the soda was flat and tasted bad. Silverware was dirty. My salad was all brown lettuce and was a two dollar add on to an overpriced fish sandwich. It looked like they just dumped an old bag of salad mix from the supermarket on a plate. My friend ordered a seafood salad lettuce wrap plate and didnt get the chips she was supposed to get with it. And the salad was a tiny little scoop of watery crab meat, with no lobster or shrimp as advertised. Really disappointed and I dont think Ill go back.

Me and my boyfriend went there to eat and the first waitress we got wasnt very friendly in terms of answering our questions. She was very short in response and snappy as well. She would even give and sarcastic look while talking to us but we attempted to make the best out of our situation. We ordered our drinks then our food. We sat for about 30 minutes before our food came out which wouldnt have been so bad if it didnt come out cold as ice. If that wasnt enough, our waitress was annoyed that my boyfriend interrupted her conversation with one of her coworkers to tell her that our food was cold. She came with her attitude and grabbed our food so we told her we no longer wanted it and to bring us our check. She said she had to get a manager before we could get our check. When she came back she had a check with just our drinks on it and no manager. I gave her the money to take care of the bill and she went missing for 20 minutes. We got up to find her for our change and was about to walk out. As we were leaving we asked for a manager and was greeted in less than a minute. We explained the situation to him and he not only seated us, placed and expedited our order, he gave it to us ON THE HOUSE. That is by far excellent service. I am grateful that he was kind enough to make things right with us.
