They didnt cut my bread into a triangle, but on the bright side the apple juice was very satisfying. I give this establishment a 3/5 stars because of the unappealing presentation of the food turned me off. My good friend ordered a scrambled egg and Im not sure there was even an egg. 10/10 would not scramble again. On the other hand, the color graphics in the syrup really caught my eye so that is a positive. Finishing this compliment sandwich, the cereal was very dry and was not as moist as I hoped. Our spicy Cuban waitress really saved the day. Without her, I would have only given a one star but she really worked for those 2 extra stars.

Horrible. Ordered a cheddar cheese omelet. The home fries were tasteless. Why cant diners do home fries right? It sure aint rocket science. Just add some onions and spices. The toast came with no jam. The omelet was not "Cheddar" cheese. I KNOW CHEESE!. It was some kind of fake cheese goop. Maybe Velveeta or something like that. No flavor. To add insult to injury, the guy at the register didnt even look me in the eye. Had no interest at all. I travel Rt. 206 between Sussex County and Trenton each week. Will never stop at the Star Diner again. They have no business being in business.

This place is pretty good. Prices are affordable, quantities are good, and after going there for almost 2 years I can say I have rarely left disappointed. My go-to orders are: Tex-Mex wrap, Texas Burger, Chicken or Veal Parm, Chicken Teryaki dinner, and the Penne Vodka. Their specials can be pretty good. The Chicken Pot Pie, Beef Brisket, and Beef Stew are my favorite. For desert, they have a cheesecake which has a brownie base, then cheese cake, then chocolate mousse, and a thin chocolate layer around it. That in particular is amazing.

Hillsborough Star Diner is your average local diner. Theyre practically always open, they have great breakfast food that you can get any time (my girlfriend likes getting their pancakes for dinner). Their lunch and dinner options are plentiful and havent disappointed yet. There are so many options here and all for a very fair price. The waitstaff is always helpful and kind. I usually get a burger if its lunch/dinner or a breakfast sandwich for breakfast. Their french fries are also quite good.

I mean, its a pretty average place, but I feel its underrated. It has speedy service, and great food. Their servings are generous, so you will have a meal fo later. Its even a great place for kids, so if your looking for a place to go to with your family that is close to you, or if your just visiting, looking for a quick meal, the Hillsborough Star Diner is a great place to go.

I had a burger and is was done medium just as I wanted it, and everyone was very nice, and I had 3 other orders I was picking up for co-workers and they were quite surprised how delicious the food was. I also Asked for a few things on the side wrapped separately, and it was all done well.

Good and popular place for breakfast with lots of seating so its never a long wait if there is one. Lunch and dinner here are also very good with a great variety and selection of daily specials and salads. Reasonably priced and waitstaff is excellent!

Very rude employees walked in stood there while all employees just walked past then when asked do we wait to be seated hostess was very rude we turned around and just left. We went to the red oak diner down the street

Great place for breakfast. Love their Eggs Benedict and the breakfast potatoes are delicious. Waiters are always friendly...shout out to Mo! Get busy on the weekends, but hey that means the people keep coming back.
