Most of the times I ordered here the food was good. But after a couple years away from the area I ordered recently and I got food poisoning. I pinpointed it back to their delivery because I keep track of what I eat for my diet and fitness program. Apologies in advance for long summary...anyway, the management or workers must have changed because the lady I spoke with this recent time was very unpleasant and short tempered, when I was the one on hold twice for probably 8 minutes and still calm. I made sure to be clear and thorough with my multiple item order, because they were very busy and I didnt want the wrong order. I received my order and it was botched, one main thing I was clear about and it s like she didnt listen, included the ingredient I was allergic to. I called back and she swore she got it right and even a friend of mine who ordered with me confirmed I was clear the first time and SHE messed up. She eventually apologized and said they was send me another pizza, free of charge and I could even keep the pizza. I thanked her and said I didnt mean for any trouble. The guy came and I gave $5 to give to the lady, bc I already tipped him. Something seem off about the pizza. The bottom was a little soggy, but I thought it was bc I hadnt immediately checked it and it had sat for a good while. I found out the hard way, the next day there was a problem. Took me over a week and plenty of Pepto, tea and Motrin to get over whatever they did to the pizza.

Great food, super nice staff. However, I typically order for pick-up 3 - 5 times per week, but Ive ordered a pizza for delivery twice now and even when I confirmed the price over the phone, I was charged an extra $5.00 both times. I let it go the first time, trying to make friends in the community. Today, I called while the delivery driver was still here and the owner couldve continued keeping my business by charging the normal price as stated by the menu and confirmed by the staff, but instead, he still charged me the extra $5.50 and said to ask for him next time so the order would be done correctly. Friendly people, but if you order a medium, youre probably going to get an extra large and be charged for it, while throwing away all the extra that you cant eat on your own. Im so surprised that he didnt want my repeat business over a $5.50 mistake on his part (twice). Do whats right and people will always return.

I consider this the best classy bistro in the area. Im from DC and picky about quality, but this cozy restaurant on New Jersey Avenue in Absecon never lets me down. Many locals order the pizza for delivery, which is fine, as it is second to none. But for a wonderful, authentic Italian meal, go there and sit in the warmly decorated dining room where diners are not hurried or upsold, just served with genuine courtesy, often by one of the proprietors. I suggest the Tuscany salad at lunch, for a fantastic mix of chicken, shrimp, and fresh greens with their own very special dressing. At dinner its a magnificent array of authentic Calabrian and other provincial Italian food from Chicken Marsala to my favorite Linguine alle vongole. The prices are set perfectly for South Jersey.

The bbq pizza was horrible!!! Made us nauseous. And garlic knots were under cooked inside. The fruit bowl was extremely small for the $5 price. We could not even eat a whole slice of the pizza bc of the Poor quality and taste. Contacted them to notify them of dissatisfaction. They were rude on the phone and refused to replace the order or make Reimbursement. Blamed the poor quality on us being from out of state and denied they had any responsibility in our Dissatisfaction.

Flew into AC after a long time away overseas for my Nephews wedding and found this gem, I had a tasty stromboli which was very good and the sauce was excellent. My wife enjoyed a big salad. Service was friendly and the owner came about to ask us how the food was. My only suggestion? maybe a revolving door in the front area away from the dining, just for people to collect their takeaways, the locals here know good food.

The staff was friendly, you dont usually get that interaction with the owners or staff, most places want you to order, hurry up eat & leave so they can get the next money (table) in. This place was not like that. All 7 of us (from 7 different states) that went loved their food and said if we come back this way we will definitely eat here again. Great place to have Italian food!!

I love this place !!!!!! A quaint place and the owner and his staff including the delivery guys are all so nice. The food is very tasty, but my favorite is the caesar salad with blackend chicken or blackened shrimp, so delicious. I recommend if you like good Italian food try this place, everything from pizza to chicKen parmagiana to subs.

We had been looking for good cheese steaks since moving to the area a year ago, and tried many different places. Thankfully, we found Calabria, and their food is outstanding. We order cheese steaks about once a week, and also visit for dinners in the restaurant. Not once has the food been anything but excellent!

What can I say... the food is ALWAYS excellent! Service is great, and they always make you feel welcome and have a good homey feeling decor. The owner is always on premises and makes sure your food is just how you want it. Thanks Arty! PS... gluten free menu also for those with wheat issues.

Pizza sucks and was $7 for 2 slices and a can of soda!!! No lunch special on Monday afternoon, straight 7$. Ridiculous price even for good pizza and this was bad. Too much cheese and grease. Could have got a pie somewhere else. Shouldnt have listened to Siri

Got a ceasar salad a bottle water and a small fountain drink for 21.85 too expensive!!!! The salad was old and the chicken was under cooked and still cold. Friendly ppl, but way too pricey for the food quality.

Authentic Italian decisions. The restaurant isnt large so I wouldnt recommend a party of more than 8-10. The size is more then made up by the quality of the food. Everything I have tried has been excellent

Yes, the best pizza in the area, but fabulous italian food across the menu. Owner Arturo came over from Calabria, Italy and his hard work shows up in delicious dishes with big portions. Dont miss it.

The place is tiny and ambiance isnt great but the food is amazing. We ordered stromboli and gnocchi with vodka sauce. Stromboli was solid but the gnocchi/vodka sauce was EXCELLENT.

Food was excellent, i had veal saltimbocca prepared a little different than i am a custom to but very tasty, i would order it again. waitress was friendly and responsive.
