We brought some friends here while vacationing in the Lakes Region and we all left stuffed and impressed. You wont be able to get Eggs Benedict or waffles or a lot of the stuff you get at a standard breakfast place, but the food is all local, mostly their own product (the cook said he had gathered the eggs we ate just that morning from the hens), and delicious! They serve "family style" meaning you play a flat rate per person ($12 for adults) and get two eggs any style; two slices of (very thick and nice) bacon done either "floppy, crispy, or dead" or two sausages, two pancakes and some home fries. It all comes out on a communal platter and you pick off of it. Hot drinks like coffee, tea, or hot chocolate were $2 extra but juice, water, and milk were included. They have quite a list of pancake flavors, all done to order, and you can even mix and match if you see something they dont have spelled out explicitly (my husband got pumpkin chocolate chip even though they didnt list it, because they had chocolate chip for an option and pumpkin for another option). You can even get each of your pancakes a different flavor if you want. In all we tried eggnog (our friend raved about them), pumpkin chocolate chip, plain, cornmeal, apple cinnamon, and blueberry. They give you real maple syrup, no extra $ required. One of our friends didnt want eggs, so they offered her two extra strips of bacon as a substitute. Very accommodating. The staff was very friendly; it felt very homelike and more like we were eating at a friends house. A woman who was weaving a basket on the porch greeted us as we walked up and gave us the lowdown when we said wed never been before. They invited us to wander out back after and check out their chickens, geese, goats, rabbits, a very large and friendly dog. All in all it was charming, delicious, worth the price and worth the visit. Definitely check it out if youre in the Lakes Region. In fact, our friends are from Hanover, NH and they said theyd make the trip some weekend from their home just to enjoy breakfast there again, so you know they were impressed. One more thing: yes, they take credit cards! We were somewhat in a panic when we arrived since it didnt occur to us until then that the place might be cash only, but they do take Visa, Mastercard, and Discover at least so rest assured.

I took my grandchildren here and then took my nephews as soon as I could wrangle them. Such a great idea for families and friends. There is a petting zoo and playground to enjoy if there is a wait for a table. The meal comes family style with kids getting a small serving of eggs and a piece of bacon or sausage and adults getting adult size portions. This place has as many varieties of pancakes as Baskin and Robbins has ice cream. gingerbread, pumpkin, cranberry, chocolate. They were all delicious! It is truly an experience.

I ate here this morning with my daughter. I only live five miles as the eagle flies but had never heard of this delightful family farm operation. Its not hard to find and as you wind your way through the back roads of Sanbornton, you pass ancient stone walls and farms well over 150 years old. In nice summer weather, dont be surprised if some baby goats visit you and try to mooch some food. Theyre guaranteed to put a smile on your face! The atmosphere is quintessential New Hampshire. Food was fantastic!!!

Very family friendly. A ton of different types of pancakes. Good home cooked food. The upstairs has toys for the young kids to play with. The staff was wonderful. Petting zoo behind the restaurant. You can even feed a pig a pancake with the owners blessing (their animals can eat all the food they serve they say). Its a little bit off the main drag but not hard to get to and youll be glad you found it.

Family style, you pick your portion size, egg style, meat, and pancake style and the bring it out on a platter. It is delicious and very filling. We bring our 2yo and he loves to play outside and look at the animals after. They dont have A/C though so if its busy and hot out, it could be a bit stuffy. Otherwise, a great place to go if you have a midweek excursion to do.

Service is home family style with everything on a platter and help yourself. There are more than a dozen pancake flavors available and they are happy to mix and match them in the large fluffy cakes. The bacon alone is worth the trip. They have wonderful maple syrup and some local farm craft soaps and preserves. Maybe youll meet the big loveable dog named Fern.

People were super polite and have nothing up smiles. For a busy place, they served us in a reasonable amount of time. The food was delicious. So so so good, I can express how good the food was. Portions were large. I couldnt finish my plate and believe me I really wanted to. Come visit, you wont be disappointed!

Breakfast only on Saturday in a small house converted to a restaurant. Attached is a maple sugaring house. Out back are a few small animals and a swingset. The pancakes are a bit expensive, but they have a great selection of custom pancakes and the food is very good.

The absolute best. Weve been a dozen or so times and never been disappointed in the slightest!! Except when theyre closed a while in the winter! :). Were from CT & make sure to get to the "pancake farm" as our children call it, any time were even remotely close.

Fantastic experience! Well worth the drive to get there. Neat fact - since theyre a working farm instead of a restaurant, they do not accept gratuities. The staff is paid a fair wage and any tips left are donated to the care of the animals in the petting farm.

This place was very tasty. Our pancakes we HUGE and delicious. The bacon was cooked exactly as ordered. My only complaint is that they use all paper plates, and plastic cups and cutlery. I assume they have a good reason for this, but it is grossly wasteful.

A wonderful time with my grandson and wife. Excellent food on the porch. A good petting zoo, playground and a great old dog. The food was fresh and delicious with real maple syrup and a beautiful atmosphere out on the front porch.

By far the quaintest charming breakfast place with a petting farm, playground, and play room for kids. The pancakes are delicious, and everything on their menu is fresh. Well be coming back for sure!!!

A great breakfast stop for the whole family, great homemade food and a petting zoo and kids play area. Almost everything is sourced from the farm or locally.

Off the beaten path. A great find. A must for a good breakfast if you are traveling through. Great for kids as well. Friendly farm animals and playground.
