If this is not Worcesters premier and authentic diner then Ive been horribly deluded for 35 years. I have only been there for breakfasts and they have always exceeded my fond visions of one of the true experiences in Americana. After all, Worcester in the home of the diner. Dont expect to be treated special by the waitress because it defies the tradition. Dont expect anything less than the most direct and efficiently friendly service you may have had. Expect the food to be great, hot and a lot, for a fair price, plus yer tip. The eggs have almost dawn orange yolks, the bacon is just right, the toast is anyway you want it. If you look for low calories theres always the oatmeal; There seems to be this really old fellow that comes in each morning and gets it and hes in great shape. I always go away highly satified without being sated. Only complaint is that I grew up drinking espresso and cafe au late in the Deep South. I can almost read the Worcester Telegram through their cup. Otherwise, if youre going to a diner for breakfast in this town, your GPS better be set on The Boulevard Diner.

The food itself is quite delicious and fairly priced. Their bread is always a fresh, flavorful treat as toast or sandwiches. Im a fan of their omelets, GIANT Italian club and jalapeno poppers (the correct type, a breaded & cheese-stuffed half pepper). My girlfriend is a fan of their chicken salad, finding it "delightful, tantalizing and squee-inducing." Even their tripe is good, for those that are interested in some Pennsylvania Dutch fare with an Italian flair. The atmosphere is quite cozy and eclectic. Its close-quarters enough that if you want something, you simply approach whoever is at the counter. Its easier for everyone that customers sitting in the booths simply go to the counter a few scant feet away to grab their order. This is the authentic American diner experience nestled snugly at the corner of Shrewsbury and Plum in downtown Worcester, and theyre even open 24 hours a day!

Its bad enough I had to give one star. My friends and I ate here and we waited a while to order because no one came over. After we ordered we had to go up and ask for silverware because the server didnt give us any. We had to get our own food because we were sitting in a booth and they just left the food on the counter for us to get ourselves. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and when I flipped the bread over it was black on the other side. We didnt get refills on coffee because the server did not come over ONCE to ask if everything was ok. We will never go back.

Notes: Open late, great pricing and welcoming Memory tells me the many times I found myself at the Boulevard after a great night with friends. In many ways, that is exactly how the Boulevard comes across, like that great friend who makes sure you get home OK. It certainly has that old school 1950s diner feel along with great burger & fries, a heaping helping of toast, eggs over easy, home fries...you know the deal. Its a landmark in Worcester worth checking out once, twice or when you find yourself stumbling around looking for late night cooking.

This family owned business is one of the best places weve ever had the pleasure of dining at. The food is great and that home atmosphere is even better. Jimmy has the kindest heart and we are very grateful to have had the pleasure to be a part if his family in a sense. If you are in he neighborhood and are hungry, make sure to make the Boulevard your only stop.

Today I had the best diner experience in my whole life. Food was awesome, service was beyond that, and all for a fraction of the price. I must warn you that most of the time the place is packed, so it might take a little longer to reach the food nirvana Im currently having.

Worcester is known for its diners and this one has great food. They are always ready with fast and hot breakfast at all hours. Its fun to go here late at night on your way home. It tastes like youre sitting in your moms kitchen and she made it the good old fashion way!

Food was decent, but there was only the board menu that was hard to navigate. Had to give my order to the people behind the counter even though I was in a booth. They didnt even bring my order to me, I had to get up and get my drinks and food from the counter.

This is a vintage Worcester LunchCar diner that is in great shape. The family that runs this establishment clearly do care and pput love in every bite. The food itself is well above average, and the daily specials are worth cheching out. Try the meatloaf.

Tiny but great service and food. Only place open after 10pm to grab some food to go and take back to hotel after a hockey game at the Beantown tournament. One lasagna was enough for 3 people and excellent. Same for ziti and sausage and a salad.

Just...the best. Awesome food, super friendly wait staff, all available for your dining pleasure 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As an added bonus, the guys at the grill will work with you to make pretty much anything you want.

I love the fact that this is open 24 hours! As a college student with an extremely messed up sleep schedule, I loved that I could Uber there at 5 am and get food! The waffles were delicious and the waitress was nice :)

Its always the evening shift that seems to add a few more dollars to my bill after ive already tipped them and left the building. Not cool at all. The morning shift keeps it honest. If you go in the evening. Take cash.

Theyve got an omelette for every college in Worcester. Great food with a no bullshit kind of efficient, yet friendly, service youd expect from a local diner where everyone is treated like a regular. I love this place!

Went here for a late night snack, you know good old diner food. Well I got exactly that. The food was very good, hot fresh and big portions. This will definitely be my go to spot for late night comfort food!
