Completely enjoyed our experience at Kung Fu Thai & Chinese! After having a delicious dinner at Lotus of Siam last night, we wanted somewhere casual off the strip, but within a few min. of the Trump Hotel to take our son for noodles tonight. Kung Fu came up as a top choice w/in a few minutes of hotel, so based on the reviews, decided to give it a try and are glad we did. Their specialty Mongolian Angus Beef ($10.25 !!) was heavy on the beef, loads of onion, a couple of carrots (which werent missed) and completely delicious ~ definitely on par w/restaurants that charge 3x the price. Also had the egg rolls which were crisped to perfection, and Shrimp Pad Thai - very basic with enough spice so that the flavor builds and keeps you eating more and more. You choose the spice level and the dishes had good warmth at a level 4. Our son chose plain pan fried noodles w/rice that he said tasted terrific, & enjoyed their bottled Ginger Ale (we liked that it was all natural). Also gave the house Sauvignon Blanc a try & it was actually quite good, you might say "excellent" for $3.50 a glass (there were only 2 SBs to choose from-the other was a Mondavi for $4.50, but the waiter recommended the house) - dont think weve seen prices like that since the early 90s. Like Lotus, Kung Fu Thai & Chinese is in a strip mall & isnt fancy, but who cares when its authentic delicious food, with really great service! Worth the trek off strip if youre visiting Vegas, would probably order from them once a week if we were locals. Looking forward to trying out their delivery, and have them bring it to the hotel next time!

I visited this restaurant on June 1st. 2017, and experienced a grueling next 24 hours suffering from food poisoning. I did not want to post this before I had given the restaurant a chance to respond to me, but never heard back after sending them this e-mail: I was visiting your restaurant on Wednesday (May 31st, at around 5) , and found that most of the online reviews were correct. I had fried shrimp and Gen. Tsous chicken, and my husband had Mongolian beef. I had not eaten earlier in the day, so there was nothing else I had eaten that could have knocked me out like either the shrimp or the chicken did. I got violently ill, that night and spent the next day in bed. Not a fun way to spend your vacation, for sure. Unfortunately that means that we are not likely to visit you again, - neither would I recommend others to do so, unless they want a speedy weight loss diet. I have not posted my review online (which I routinely do) in order for you to react to this letter. Las Vegas, June 2nd. 2017 Regards, Britt McCary. So needless to say, this restaurant does not get any recommendations from me.

Good food, but TERRIBLE service. I used eat here or pickup very often (at least once a week) with my family because I live nearby and the food was pretty good, but stopped going because the service was always just so bad. At first I tried to deal with it, but after the final time it was so ridiculous that I promised myself I wouldnt return - and I havent. I was starving today and at the corner, but I just drove by and felt disgusted that they had to ruin a good thing. And it reminded me to write this post. The biggest problem was simply being ignored. If you need something, you will absolutely have to YELL for a waiter, who all seem to purposely avoid you. Also, we always ordered the same basic items, but the order was often incorrect - language barrier? These are things you can endure for a while, but when it happened every time it just gets old. I could go on and provide details about my final experience, but I wont. Hopefully someone there will read this and fix these problems before they lose more good regular customers.

I have visited Las Vegas many times, and during our visits I have always visited American food restaurants or buffets that offer an assortment of different types of food. During our recent stay in February, we were wanting to try something different, and we were craving Chinese food. We did some research and found this restaurant, and we were WOWED!! with the quality and taste of the food. We visited the restaurant in person, but it was taking forever to get seated so we decided to just got back to the hotel and place a order for delivery. We were staying @ the Wyndham Grand Desert resort, and we got our food delivered quickly, even though it was a distance from the restaurant to the hotel. Once our order arrived, we were scared, but once we opened the boxes, the food smelt great and had such good flavor, fresh. I highly recommend anyone visiting Las Vegas to eat here or have delivered, best Chinese food around. I was visiting from California, and would go to Las Vegas just to eat their food again. Thank you Kung Fu!

Not impressed at all. If by "authentic" you mean a euphemism for gamey, bland and skimping on the meat, you probably wont be disappointed. I ordered shrimp egg fu yong and crab rangoon for myself (admittedly somewhat less than a gourmet selection) and the bill was almost $20. The cocktail-size shrimp in the egg fu yong were fishy tasting and tough, the sauce bland and unremarkable. The vegetables were actually quite good though. There was naught but cream cheese in the room-temperature crab rangoon - seriously, I didnt taste or feel even a shred of crab meat (imitation or otherwise). Perhaps I am spoiled by Americanized Asian-fusion cuisine, but for that kind of money I will stick with the flavor and quality of PF Changs or Pei Wei. Better yet, give Grand China a chance - they have multiple locations in the valley, are family owned and blow this place out of the water in quality and service.

I called this place to see if they would deliver to the Mirage. 1st call, no answer. 2nd call, they pick up then hang up right away. 3rd call, a women answers. Yes they deliver, but you need to meet the driver outside. We ordered laad naa, Green seafood curry, and two orders of Tom Yum (seafood) soup, along with a couple of eggrolls. I thought that all the food was quite tasty. Better than I expected. The website says it takes an hour, but the driver was here in like 30 minutes. The laad naa noodles had hot wok flavor (yum), and the rice was moist just the way I like it . The seafood dishes had lots of different seafood chunks in it, like mussels and fish. The curry was tasty. A word of warning, these people dont play around when it comes to spicy. I said 8 out of 10. Next time I think I will cut that 8 number in half lol.

Great restaurant with great food at a high quality. Their Kung Poa chicken with spicy sauce is the best. Food can become pricey if you are with a big group. They charge you extra for rice REFILLS so keep that in mind, its $5 each refill. The atmosphere at this restaurant is great, not too loud. There is tons of things on the menu to choose from, so dont think there isnt a variety. This food is very healthy and is made with some of the best ingredients, nothing cheap with tons of fat. The waiting at this restaurant is great, they tend to give you lots of time to think of what you want to order so dont be afraid to let them know you are ready to order along with their other waiting services if you need something. Also, in our bill, a tip was already included, so remember that. Gave it a 4 out of 5 stars due to the price of the food.
