Ordered the Blatt Burger and after reading other reviews that the food was bland I decided to add some bacon and cheddar just in case. Burger came out without either. Took a bite before I noticed and sure enough, tasteless. Mentioned to our server that they forgot the bacon and cheddar and they offered to take it back and add it on. Waited ten more minutes and it arrived with a single slice of bacon, no cheddar, and cool to the touch. The server offered to comp the meal but I just decided to eat it anyway since we were pressed for time. Menu is tiny as it was so screwing up twice on a menu this small is pathetic. Wont be going back.

Oh Blatt, I really wish I liked you more. But your event menu is too small, your appetizer portions are too small for what you pay, and your food is so hit and miss. Your chicken and waffles always sounds so good, but your jalapeno cornbread waffles are so bland that Im disappointed every time I order. I always expect the sweetness of the cornbread waffle, only to be greeted by "meh". Your currywurst is great but really upsets my stomach. Overall, I want to like you, but for your prices and your lack of selection on event days, I just cant.

We went to the Blatt on a Saturday night on July 6th and was extremely slow from 9pm-11pm. When we went to order our drinks the bar tender was a jerk and again there was no one in the bar so it wasnt busy. Love the roof top of the Blatt (closed the bar up top at about 10:30) no one there and I see why with the rude staff. So for anyone looking to have a great night, dont go to the Blatt.

As delicious as the schnitzel and spatzel was, it makes me wonder why they dont have other dishes similar to that, everything else is just sandwiches! Which is fine I suppose, but you can get good sandwiches anywhere. Also the bread pudding was fantastic. Good vegetarian and vegan options also. Not that I would know anything about that, but my sister said it was good, so.. There it is.

Great place to take the kids, theyre completely preoccupied with the ambiance and the coloring sheets. The breeze from outside feels fantastic, not to mention their beer selection is on point. The kids menu is extremely reasonable, the whole family can eat here for less than 40 dollars with drinks. Definitely worth coming to. They even have a great vegan selection for the girl!

Just stopped in for a late, light dinner and was pleasantly surprised! Had an app, a salad and one entree and asked for extra plates to split it: instead they split it for us! Great service, very good prices and the food was delicious...highly recommend. Only downfall was how noisy it was, hard to have normal conversation, but thats fairly normal for a bar I guess.

Granted. I am giving this review on a Tuesday night during College World Series. Food 8. My service tonight 10. Last night sitting at bar 2. There were plenty of bartenders but only one acknowledged me. Main other gripe. Why are we exposed to insane disco dance and club music at blaring decibels when there is already a caucauphy of talk at a very crowded place?

Took my work team, about 18 executives, including members from Australia and Denmark. The food and service were ok. What I am not happy about is that one of the servers spilled a coke on me, a big glass! She did apologize but I feel I should have gotten a gift card or a free dessert or something due to this incident, our bill was substantially big.

All hype. Been here many times, disappointed every time. Chicken sandwich is a thin slice of meat all bread and fried batter. Overcooked fries. Expensive drink prices. Stale unchanging menu... Same old deep fried food over and over again. Top it off with slow inattentive service and you have a real let down. More like splat...

Id never had chicken and waffles before going here. I get it every single time now. The root burger was a bit too mushy for me, but the mac n cheese was so good I couldnt let my wife eat all of it. 7 months later. Still eating chicken and waffles. Its just as great as it was the first time.

Customer service was awesome, drinks were very strong (which is actally a good thing for me personally), and the food was fresh and handmade you could tell. I was head over heals for the ranch, bUT not so crazy about the cheese sauce for the pretzel balls. Overall great experience.

Food was good, the process of getting a table was the big issue. You seat yourself, this place is busy so locating a table is like circling your prey on the savannas of Africa. When you are at a table you have this constant feeling that someone is just gunning for your spot.

Food was quite solid, especially the jalapeno blattwurst. The beer selection, while not the largest ever, had some excellent choices. Our table of 4 sat for quite awhile catching up and the servers couldnt have been friendlier. I will absolutely be back next time Im in Omaha.

Menu is a little small. Dining area was opened up on the afternoon I visited & had a nice breeze blowing through. Had chicken & waffles with huge grilled jalapenos. Id stop here again for a quick bite if I was in the immediate vicinity -- seems like more of a brunch place

Great burgers and interesting variety of American food. My side salad was pretty mediocre, however, with iceburg lettuce and standard ranch for dressing. Pretzel bites were $6 and we only got about 8 quarter-sized bites! Very nice location though and good views.

I went there for lunch with a few friends, the chicken strips were fantastic, fries were average. Burger was ok but not worth it for the price. Chicken Fried steak was served warm not hot, gravy was good would have been really good if was served HOT!

Brilliant selection of crafted beers, My Steak was excellent, and beautiful peppercorn sauce. i was there on a monday evening so was not busy but id imagine when a game is on in TD Ameritrade Park, this would be the place to be.

Always have a good time here. Dixie fried chicken sandwich is best thing on the menu. Burgers are good too. If something gets screwed up, theyre always quick to fix it. Little hectic during events, so I avoid it then.

Really good spot for pre-gaming before Creighton games and the College World Series. Good beer selection and really tasty bar food. When the summer rolls around, its rooftop is the best in town.

Love this place! Has a great vibe. If you are looking for something different to start with try the buffalo chachos. You can never go wrong with the Blatt burger or dixie fried chicken strips.

I will be eating here anytime I stop through Omaha! They have an awesome selection of microbrews (on tap) from across the country, and they have hands down the best burgers in the state!
