MONTANA GUIDE -
This is a decent establishment. The Mexican food is authentic and very tasty. For the price, you get quite a lot of food. As far ss the 2 star review goes... I spent and hour and a half here from 6pm-730pm. My drink remained empty the entire time. All othee attendees had empty drinks as well. No refills were offered until one customer asked for more water. There was always a dirty table. Even durring considerably slow business times. One table was left dirty with plates and silverware for nearly 45 minutes. Overall customer service could use improvements but the atmosphere and food are on par with the price. I asked one of thr children who was at the restaurant what he thought, his reply? "The opposite of thumbs up" ( he said holding his thumb down. )

I arrived on a quiet Saturday night. There were only about four tables seated, so it was nice and quiet. The waitress was quite attentive and friendly. I was impressed with the depth of the menu and decided to order something a little esoteric and ordered the machaca con huevos. It was really nicely made. The meat was tastey and tender and it was not over seasoned. If there was one improvement I could recommend it would be that they could add more peppers. Outside of that it was impressive for Montana. I would recommend giving it a try.

Best Mexican food Ive ever had! Everything is so fresh and delicious and the portions are huge. The homemade salsa is to die for! I got a free dessert on my birthday which was like a fried tortilla with cinnamon sugar and chocolate sauce and whipped cream and it was amazing as well! Ive had great service here every time and the staff is always very friendly. Definitely the place to go for authentic, fresh, good quality Mexican food.

I leave one star only because I cant leave a review without it. Food was gross to say the least. Customer service was terrible. Food had a bland salty taste. Tortillas are extremely cold as if they had come out of the microwave and crumbles when you folded them .Save yourself the trouble of coming to this restaurant in find yourself A authentic Mexican restaurant because this is far from it.

Our large family had awesome food. The service was a little slow but its worth the wait. The look on my husbands face when he ate the carne adada burrito was incredible. He called it pure heaven on a plate. I got a chicken platter it was a little dry but tasty. The beans are out of this world! Im pretty sure the put crack in them. Just kidding! Really great place to take your out of towners.

The food is great. Best Mexican in town. The service sucks. The last three times Ive been here, they have had no more than two people working on the floor. They are usually friendly, but stretched too thin. This will likely be my last meal here. Too bad because the food is fantastic. I hope they get it together so I can come back.

Went in for lunch, and service was slow when it wasnt busy at all. The food was ok, not great, and was overpriced compared to what you can get in Helena. I can get better quality food (less rice and bean filler) for about $2 cheaper per meal at other Mexican restaurants in town.

Good Mexican food is hard to find in Montana. This place was a good surprise to find. It doesnt compare to authentic places that you would find in Seattle, Los Angeles, or San Diego; but it does hit the spot if you feel nostalgic for the really good stuff.

This is our first choice for Mexican food in Helena. The menu has lots and lots of choices. They bring two different salsas to the table. The service can be a little slow, however, so its not a good choice if youre on a tight schedule.
