The salsa was thin but had okay flavor. I ordered the guacamole without realizing it was actually a guacamole dip that was more sour cream than avocado. I had a combo plate with a beef enchilada and chile relleno with chicken. The relleno was not as I am accustomed (an egg battered poblano in sauce), but some other chili split open with chicken and melted cheese in it. It was just okay. The enchilada had a good corn tortilla, and the beef had a good flavor, but it was a ground beef, which I do not think makes for good Mexican food. My sister had the triple quesadilla, chicken, carnitas, and steak. She liked the chicken, and I thought both the carnitas and steak had a smoky, street-cart style, grilled flavor. I dont think the meat was the best quality. As usual, they had the ubiquitous rice and beans. Again, pretty good flavor, but not spectacular. The bright spot was the cost. Very reasonable. They need to work on the freshness and quality of their ingredients, though. I might go again and try a special. What I had was pretty on par with El Matador and Lorenas, but cheaper.

I usually try to find the positive in food places, but this one was a bad one. The high rating pushed us to go. The only person who was courteous to us, was the man at the register and he took down our orders as well. We were a group of four. First off, was the attitude. The ladies who brought us chips or refilled our drinks seemed so ornery. When we would say thank you, they wouldnt say anything back or just walked off with a rude manner. The chips tasted stale, and werent warm. The chicken nachos my husband ordered werent savory at all. No seasoning, and the cheese (shredded) on top was hardly melted. My husband also asked for extra salsa, and we were seated right next to the kitchen. I overheard them say he was "needy." We were the only Spanish speaking guests there that night, and they still had the decency to speak badly about us in the back. All in all, this place was not worth $24. Shouldnt have left a tip, but we did anyway. We will definitely not be returning.

Awful place. I gave this place 2 tries and they made a bad impression both times. The first time we got there about 15 minutes before closing and the girl up front refused to seat my family and feed us. She said it was to close to closing time. I got upset and we left to find someplace else to eat. ... The second time we had plenty of time to eat and it was awful. All these people on here saying it is authentic Mexican food clearly have not actually been to Mexico and had great Mexican food as I have. NACHO HOUSES food is bland and tastes like it comes from a can. Absolutely no flavor or seasonings. The first thing I ordered tasted so awful I sent it back and ordered something else. When the second plate came they brought a chicken meal instead of the pork I had requested! Then they refused to change it out for the proper meat. Save your money and go elsewhere. This place is a dive and the staff are rude.

This place is pretty decent for Mexican food, considering there isnt much choice in the area. The chips and salsa are pretty good, but they never offered to refill them, they just took our empty basket before our entrees arrived. The entrees we got were really hit and miss. I got pork tamales with rice and beans. Tamales were really good, the beans were good. The rice was not very good at all. My wife got the cheese plate. Her burrito was not good at all, the beef in her burrito wasnt seasoned. It tasted like hamburger. The quesadilla was good, but in the middle was this pile of shredded lettuce with onions and a dollop of sour cream. I guess this is their sour cream salad? It didnt look appetizing at all. All in all, it was an ok experience. The prices are very good for what you get so maybe well be back another time.

So this place never seems to be busy, but their salsa is really good. Quality wise, Ive seen better, but everything tastes good. Ive had their chimichangas and the steak is really good. The chicken tasted like it came from Costco, so that was a let down. And while I usually hate bacon wrapped food, the bacon wrapped chimichangas were surprisingly good. Also have had the steak quesadillas; they were cheap and tasty. Friendliness of the servers depends on the server. There is one lady who is always there, Im guessing shes one of the owners, and shes pleasant to interact with. Food generally comes out quickly as weve rarely waited more than half an hour if that. Overall, if youre looking for something cheap, quick, and tasty I would recommend the Nacho House.

For it being called The Nacho House... The nachos fall flat of anything stellar. The chips if they stayed crunchy they were so brittle they broke under the weight of the food. Portion size is decent for the price, but what you get in volume you lose in flavor. The rice barely had any seasonings, the enchilada sauce tasted of stale Chile peppers, and my childrens kids meal fries tasted of the freezer and then being baked. They were soggy and bland. I will not come back to waste my money. Also their waiter didnt know the difference between shredded beef and ground beef. I ordered shredded beef and got ground. Will not recommend to anyone I know

Horrible experience. I was upfront and honest about not really caring for my dish instead of being nice about it the waitress coped and attitude and told me to take it home.. If I didnt like it why would I take it home? The "shredded" chicken was pieces of chicken breast that were not shredded at all with minimal flavor. The rice was plain white rice with minimal flavor nothing I was served would I classify as "Mexican" food. She wasnt willing to take it off my bill and was very rude and inconsiderate. I will not be returning to this establishment.

INCREDIBLE FOOD at an amazing value! The couple that own this restaurant are there open to close and they work diligently to make sure you want to come back again. The value is amazing - inexpensive, but large portions and fresh, delicious food. I HIGHLY recommend the pork burrito - it is killer! This is truly a "hole in the wall" establishment - the atmosphere is nothing to write home about, but youll be back again and again to feed your cravings!!!!

I love this restaurant! I rarely go to restaurants without coupons because I hate paying full price for anything, but the Nacho House is one exception for me. The food is awesome. The restaurant is family-owned and they are very friendly. I have always enjoyed my meals there. The restaurant was recently renovated so it has a nice atmosphere. The prices fit my college budget too! This place is one of my favorite restaurants!

We went there for the first time and was very disappointed with the quality of food. Very flavorless and not "authentic" at all. The rice looked and tasted as if it came from the box and I had their chile relleno and it looked like cheese was tossed on top and melted. The cashier was very rude at the end and told us we ordered it, its not their fault . Very disappointed in the quality of food and service
