Worst experience in a restaraunt to memory. Just a list because there was too much to share for a nicely written paragraph: salsa actually made me gag, all mixed drinks tasted like pure lime and soda (no taste of tequila, rum, flavor or fruit), no meal came with sour cream ($1 for a tiny little cup), $2 for a small cup of ranch dressing, fajitas were not only sparse (2, count em 2 pieces of onion on a $14 plate) but were genuinely slimey (like undercooked nopales or spoiled peppers), not one tortilla in any of four dishes was heated and all tore in half or fell apart when picked up, tacos were dry and gristly, took an hour and fifteen minutes from order to serve (restaraunt was 2/3 empty), corn was full of hairs, Chile relleño was burned cold and mushy, cant even comment on flavor - nobody could choke down more than a few bites. I talked to manager and he comped half of a $100 bill for four. All plates left untouched after a couple of bites. Could have had this meal elsewhere in town for $60 and actually eaten it.

Yes!! "mexican grill" in Bozeman, heard some good and some bad - went last night - arrived at 6pm crowded but not full. hostess said - give me 10 minutes we got slammed, went to the bar - Margaritas were great! 45 minutes to the table - waitress Taylor was Awesome - waited 40 minutes for apps - waited another 35 - 40 for dinner, not great food (so many onions - and i love onions) all was served cold- refried beans - not good cold?? .. 2 hours and 45 min in all - way too long - table of 8 next to us walked out after an hour on their chips and salsa - never got food.. didnt blame them.. Ill give it another shot ?? Hope they are adjusting... but very disappointed..

Please dont waste your money on horrible food! My girlfrind had the fish to cos and they were the worse she has ever had. I got the burger since Im not a huge fan of mexican food and it was so bad I didnt even finish half of it. The chips were the only good thing, dont order queso because thats terrible as well. Dont go for the food go for the drinks, thats about all this place can get right! The decor is nice and the servers are great but they need to figure out how to cook. I know we will never go for food there again. I just wish someone would have warned us before we tried toro, $70 completely wasted!

While the service was good the food left a lot to be desired. All of the food seemed overly dry. The tortillas for our tacos seemed stale around the edges and dry. Definitely not fresh. The chicken in the tacos was also extremely dry. The taco meat was also very one note in taste and had no depth of flavor. It could have used some acid to brighten up the taste which was overwhelming the taste of a single spice. The same was true for my wifes food. The beans and rice were dry and bland. Definitely wont be returning as there are many better options for Mexican in town for a better price.

Toro is a wonderful addition to downtown! Ive been here on multiple occasions and always had a positive experience. Their happy hour offers some great options for a quick stop after work ($5 margs and amazing crabcakes), and you cant beat their Taco Tuesday special. I brought my mother here while she was in town visiting and our server Brock along with all the other employees were very attentive and always made sure our drinks were full and all dirty plates were cleared promptly. Toro is definitely one of my new favorites in town. Ill be coming back many, many times!

Loved Toro! Weve been there several times and have really enjoyed it each visit. And each time we have gone it has been better and better, seems like they are really working out a few "new restaurant kinks." The Margs are delish, and Ive been loving the chicken enchiladas! And every time the service has been stellar. Even both the chef and manager have visited our table to make sure we enjoyed our meals. Cant wait to go again!

This place is not good. Beautiful decor, friendly staff but terrible food. Soggy tacos, dry quesadilla, bland salsa. The quality of the food made me say "Is this a joke? Did we piss off the cook?" Way overpriced and seemed very pretentious. No hot sauce on the table. They charge extra for sour cream and jalapenos. Salsa comes out in dainty little dishes. Maybe enough for 6 chips. Not going back and will not recommended.

A great dining experience. My favorite part of my dinner was the service. If you go there, ask for Taylor. She was phenomenal. There are few places in Bozeman you can get service like that. I would go back just to sit in her section. The food could be seasoned a little more overall, but they have some great dishes. I enjoyed the steak fajitas. Delicious! The margaritas were delicious as well.

Food was about what you would expect for a Downtown Bozeman "Mexican grill." Had crab cakes that were surprisingly good but my pork chop was pretty deflating. Service wasnt too bad. Was nice because I was the only one there. On another occasion I watched the bartender with a pony tail cuss out some bar help during a music on main. Was sad to watch and I didnt want to tip much.

Five of us went to here for dinner. All of us had something different including different drinks. We were all very happy with our meals and the staff. The waitress was attentive and patient with us all trying to decide on different menu items. The bar is beautiful. Its fun sitting by the window and watch what is going on in downtown Bozeman.

I love what the Owners have done with this location. Great colors and interior. Central bar with easy access. Hand made cocktails, great weekly specials, and wonderful food. The atmosphere is comfortable and classy. The staff is also very helpful, happy and efficient. Ive had some great food and drink recommendations from the staff.

Just did Wine Down Wednesday, $5 glass of wine and we also got chips and guacamole, the salsa could use some work. Great service and atmosphere. I also appreciate their Tequila menu as Ive had the Mexican Mule in the past. Its a fun twist on the Moscow Mule. Ill be back! Cheers

This place is so amazing! From the colorful decor to the delicious food and drinks to the awesome staff. I have been there multiple times and tried a different dish each time and all of them have been so full of flavor. The margaritas are SO GOOD! I recommend this to everyone!

Asked them to make me a Sazerac, it wasnt good. Asked for a plug-in, they directed me to under the bar where the plugs were all dead. Waited like 15 minutes for my drink another 15 for them to take a food order. Theres too many options in Bozeman to spend your time here

Chicken fajitas were amazing. Raspberry mojito was delicious. Loved the atmosphere. Black bean side dish was iffy, but thats to be expected for a new place. Loved the rice/chorizo side. Also pulled pork taco meat was very tasty and well seasoned!
